Student perfectly nails Michael Jackson's 'Moonwalk' on graduation day, leaving everyone impressed

A graduation ceremony is a big day in almost every student's life. The graduating students finally reap the fruits of their labor, take their diplomas and toss their caps in the air to celebrate their educational milestone. But some creative folks like Devon Jasper–who goes by @idjrock on TikTok–have unique ideas for making their graduation ceremony memorable for themselves and their entire school. In a popular video posted by Jasper, he appears to be walking confidently toward the stage to receive his diploma from the teachers. But unlike his peers, he decides to receive his diploma in style.

As Michael Jackson's hit track "Billie Jean" plays in the background of the video, Jasper puts on a pair of white gloves over his socks and dons his shoes once again. A teacher who had possibly noticed what the graduate was about to do warns him not to "do it." But he throws a flying kiss toward the audience instead of listening to his teacher and continues with his planned celebration.

Staying in tune with the beat of "Billie Jean," he effortlessly moonwalks the rest of his way to the teachers handing over the diploma. Halfway into his moonwalk, he also performs a split and earns claps and cheers from fellow students and a hug from the teacher who hands him over the diploma he worked hard for. The video has amassed over 35 million views and the TikTok community is cheering for him as well.

I mean it's their day to shine. Jasper also shared the whole video when viewers in the comment section repeatedly urged him to do it. The full-length video of his moment from the graduation received more than 3 million views and counting. The longer video captures Jasper, who was already hyped, pumping his fists in the air while walking with his graduating peers, all dressed in blue robes. While he climbs up the podium, he adds in some casual dance moves before doing Jackson's iconic moonwalk step.

While talking about wholesome graduation moments, another woman also made quite a buzz online after celebrating her graduation ceremony in her preferred way. Angelica Remache Lopez—who goes by @angelica.remache on TikTok, decided to honor her immigrant parents after graduating from Harvard. Lopez shared a heartwarming video where she pulls her parents in front of the camera and they all exchange warm hugs. She then takes off her graduation cap and places it on her father's head. He gets visibly emotional as they embrace once again.

She takes off the Harvard sash from around her neck and puts it on her father. Lopez takes off her black robe and makes her mom wear it. The mother and daughter duo embrace each other tearfully. The Lopez family poses together at the end, with the graduate's mom and dad wearing her graduation attire now. Lopez continued her graduation celebration with her parents by giving them presents, which were sweatshirts for her parents that read Harvard Papi and Harvard Mami on them.
