Pheba's love for writing began in her high school but it was her interest in social justice that led her to opt for journalism as her course of choice. She has covered beats like politics, crime, environment, and also specific stories on disability in her career. When she is not busy scrolling her phone on a lazy Sunday, she likes to go for nature walks and car rides with her family.

Pheba did her Bachelor of Journalism and Mass Communication from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and Post Graduate Diploma in Print Journalism from Asian College of Journalism, India.
Previous Experiences
She has been a feature writer for Scoop Upworthy for over 2 years. She started as a Chennai Correspondent for The News Minute for 2+ years and then went on to work as a Project Manager and Branding and Communication Strategist for two non-profits between 2018-2022.
