Vacation time with friends is all about unexpected shenanigans. There is something very special about friends getting together for a holiday. When they come together, things are bound to get a little crazy. During one such vacation of a group of college students, Paige "Scout" Victoria, known on X as @citrusgirlpaige, got a photo of the group chilling in a hostel in Iceland. Paige, who didn't know any of the people in the picture, knew exactly how the photo had made its way to her, and the secret lay in the Jenga set on the table in the photo. You see, back in 2019, she had written her phone number on one of the pieces of the Jenga set. "In 2019, I wrote my phone number on a Jenga piece at a hostel in Iceland. Today I received this photo," she captioned her X post.

Since the photo was uploaded, the post has received a whopping 3.5 million views.

Paige later took to the thread to thank everyone for showing so much positivity when it came to this post. "Hi everyone, thank you so much for all the positivity! If you want my phone number, I highly recommend a visit to the land of ice and fire, and if you’re a college student you should check out @theGREENprogram, that’s the group I traveled with. Cheers!" she wrote in the post. Many took to the post to talk about the funny incident.

One person took to the thread to announce that they were one of the people in the photo. "I’m in this pic! we're having an AMAZING time at Midgard!!," wrote @kaylinlaghaei. "That is brilliant! What a fun way to connect people. Well done!" added @KyraMatkovichHR. "One guy looking at the camera, eyes saying, 'I’m single, this will make a great story, text back,'" joked @LMacMo.

Strangers can create a positive impact, sometimes in small ways and sometimes in significant ways. In another story that connected strangers in unexpected ways, Simone Crouch, a to-be bride, got a surprise from a stranger who reached out to her after seeing a post in which she asked for the source of a specific dress. The two women met as if they were already friends and felt as though they had known each other for a long time. Simone then requested to purchase Emily's dress. Although Emily initially declined, she later agreed to lend it to Simone on the condition that she would return it. Emily then shipped the dress to Simone, who didn't even need alterations because it fit her like a glove.

The video resonated with many and received more than 4.3 million views. Emily later received an invitation to the wedding, and she flew with her husband to Cape Town to be with Simone on her special day. "I'm really glad that the piece of it resonated with people because it's definitely something that was, you know, a big leap of faith," Simone said. "I think the essence of this story is the kindness of two people and how it's brought about a friendship," she added.
