Woman shares her wholesome friendship and meal exchange with neighbor's adorable young son

One rarely gets to have neighbors with whom they can exchange meals or have friendly conversations. However, one TikTok user named Audrey Perry, who goes by @audreyperryy on TikTok, has found an unlikely friend and collaborator in her neighbor's son, Nour. The pair has been winning hearts on social media by sharing how they've been exchanging food and rating each other's dishes.

In one video, Audrey first asks the kid to introduce himself. "Hi, my name is Nour, I'm Audrey's neighbor," the charismatic and well-spoken young boy says. Perry then chimes in: "We have been trading food back and forth."

Nour continues, "Yeah, they have been giving me delicious desserts and I've been giving them dinner." The kid then introduces the dish his mother sent for Audrey that day. "This is called freeka (in Arabic), basically it is a type of soup. It is a thicker soup, you are supposed to put bread with it. There are some veggies in there, carrots, zucchini and that's salad over there," he explains.

He also describes the salad he brought. "If you are wondering what the meat over there is, it's sheep liver and heart. Audrey's gonna try this, I have already eaten. After you try everything, I want you to rate it," says Nour.

Audrey gives the salad an 8 out of 10. "The liver is a little dense. I've had it before, it's a personal thing, but it's seasoned so well that it's good to have," she explains. She then rates the freeka a 9.5 out of 10, saying: "That's really good. It's a little spicy I like it." Nour even tells her why it is spicy. "My mom didn't leave the peppers in there. While she was cooking it, she cooked some peppers with it and put the seeds in there, she sprinkled them. That's why it's spicy, because she didn't keep the pepper in," he explains.

The video went viral with more than 10 million views and 1.9 million likes. It is captioned, "Me and Norm and our neighborly food exchanges." People on the internet loved the food exchange between neighbors. @alexgirl commented, "He’s so cute, he’s like, oh girl, she translated for you." @thechelseykshow wrote, "I love how he knows all the details of the food is made! He pays attention to detail." @cookedbyjulie shared, "'Can you explain why' 'Tell me what you think.' Didn’t speak over her once, is a conversationalist, and a great listener. He’s going places!" @siddd_martell said, "Please make this a series because he’s my favorite person now." @rachillllltbozz wrote, "I love Nour!! He’s so proud of his mom’s cooking."

In the another video, Nour can be seen rating cookies that Audrey's friend made. "I'm gonna rate some desserts. Last time Audrey rated the food, now I'm going to be rating the delicious-smelling cookies," says Nour. The cookies had oatmeal, chocolate chips, peanut butter chips and walnuts. After taking a bite, Nour shared his initial thoughts on the cookie: "Off the bat, it's super good. I like the flavor. It tastes more like banana or peanut butter, and at the end, you feel like chocolatey."

He rated it 9.5 out of 10. "It's a bit dry. Try to make it less dry, but otherwise, it's a good job," says Nour in the video. The second video also has gained more than 892k views and is captioned, "cookie review with @nourtemsah23." @katharinatome commented, "He is so well-spoken!" @joshuaedwards74 wrote, "You can tell he comes from a very good family.
