Grandpa has the cutest reaction when he realizes that people are celebrating his birthday

Having people sing "Happy Birthday" to you is such a joyous experience—it makes you feel truly special and loved, especially as you get older. One grandpa's birthday celebration took the heartwarming factor to a whole new level. In a YouTube video shared by Humankind, several people and wait staff gather to sing "Happy Birthday." The grandpa, initially thinking the song is for someone else, starts clapping and singing along. Mid-clap, he realizes everyone is singing for him—it's his 89th birthday!

The grandpa was visibly surprised, pointing to himself in disbelief. As the 89-year-old got emotional, a slice of cake with a candle was brought to him, and the singing continued. A family member reached across the table to hold his hand. The entire restaurant joined in the celebration, and he looked around with teary eyes as everyone serenaded him.

In another heartwarming story, a 102-year-old grandma had everyone rolling on the floor with laughter when she tried to blow out her birthday candles. In a video posted on Instagram, her family gathered to celebrate, singing "Happy Birthday" enthusiastically. As she blew out the candles with all her might, her dentures flew out! Everyone, including the grandma, laughed for over an hour. She explained that she hadn't used the denture glue that day, leading to the hilarious moment. She took it in great spirits and was happy to make her family laugh.

The family had gathered at the grandmom's house on Sunday to celebrate her birthday. "I have five children - four boys and one girl. I have 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, which thank God they come and I'm in close contact with all of them. There's a lot of love here. I always say, 'I've been blessed.'" the woman expressed. "There are so many problems in this life and I'm so glad that with this, there can be laughter," she added. Louise Bonito, the woman's granddaughter, who shared the video on Instagram, remarked that her grandma was incredible. She captioned the post, "This legend would've been 110 today. We've seen this a thousand times and it never gets old. HBD #nonnie - you're STILL making people's days brighter."
