The woman in the video has been recognized as Andrea Schwarz, who is a wheelchair user and social entrepreneur, according to Bloomberg Linea. The 44-year-old has been working for people like her since 2019 where she assists companies to recruit and hire people with disabilities. Schwarz has been a wheelchair user since she was 22. She posted a heartfelt video of her son carrying her to a flight seat exhibiting the love and care he has for her.
Schwarz wrote in the caption of the video in Portuguese: "I carried my son for 9 months and today he is the one carrying me. The preferred seats in economy class are right at the beginning, even so, it would be difficult for me to get to my seat with my wheelchair, as the aisle narrows. But my son, Gui, helped me get there this time. It's like I usually say in my talks, everything is possible when we have love."

In the viral clip, Gui is seen holding his mother in his arms as he moves ahead carefully through the flight's aisle and places her down in an economy-class seat. The 32-second clip also includes throwback pictures of the mother and her loving son. In one photograph, Schwarz is shown to be pregnant. In other photographs, the son can be seen as a baby and later on a toddler. These snapshots are enough to indicate that Gui grew up to be a caring and dutiful son who is always by his mother's side when she needs him.
A lot of people showed overwhelming support for the clip when it was circulated online but a few people even showed concern about the lack of adaptive facilities on flights for people with special needs. @danielledziesman wrote in an Instagram comment: "This is beautiful. But speaks to the problem that airlines need to be more accessible because not everyone has a strong capable able-bodied son to travel with them and is willing to carry them (nor wants that)."

@mmmbopity_boo_boo shared a personal story and commented: "As someone who is disabled, I was always afraid to have kids because I didn't want them to have to take care of me. My disability shouldn’t be their burden." @el_norton remarked: "This is beautiful, but this is an example of how airlines are not in compliance with ADA. What about people who don’t have someone to carry them? What about people who can’t sit up in an airline seat and need to be in their wheelchair? Don’t get to fly I guess." Despite a few negative remarks from netizens as well, Schwarz and her son's bond remains unbreakable.
