Dad surprises his daughter with a trip to Philadelphia and her reaction is everything

Most daughters love nothing but spending every second with the most handsome and loved man of their lives: their father. Growing up, daughters often cling to their dads and refuse to let go for even a moment. They get attached and having their fathers beside them at every moment means the world to them. This creates a different bond between fathers and daughters and it is beyond endearing to watch a father-daughter duo grow in love. Kier Gaines (@kiergaines) shared a video of his daughter’s wholesome reaction after he surprised her with some superb news. The TikTok video has left people mesmerized. The dad is seen speaking with his little daughter and explaining to her that he’d have to make the trip the very same night.

“Remember when I said I was gonna take a train to go to Philadelphia and I said I wasn’t gonna leave today? I am leaving today,” he said. The daughter gets a little upset but tries to remain calm and understanding about the news her father was breaking to her. Her father apologized and said, “That’s the bad news.” Taking it all in as best as she could, the daughter gently nodded. “You wanna know the good news?” the dad asked. His daughter’s eyes lit up as she nodded more energetically. The father then revealed, “The good news is you’re going to Philadelphia with me and the reason I’m going to Philadelphia is because you and I are gonna go on a date.” The daughter’s facial expressions quickly changed into the gentlest smile as she eagerly listened to what her father had to add.

Revealing more about the plan, the dad said, “We’re going to stay in the hotel, we’re going to go to the play museum and the hotel has a swimming pool and we’re going to take the train to Philadelphia.” The daughter couldn’t help but gasp and chuckle at the excitement and delight her father had planned for her. “Me and you are going to have two days, just me and you traveling together,” the dad said, hyping her up even more. Then, like the perfect gentleman, he asked, “Would you like to go with me?” and the little girl, like the most elegantly excited woman, said, “I would love to.”

The next few clips captured the father-daughter duo en route to Philadelphia, both excited and clinging to each other, ready to make the most of their trip. Right enough, the dad kept up with his words and went to the museum, hotel, swimming pool and several other places to have a mesmerizing trip.
