Music undoubtedly uplifts and when the symphony of a choir marks its presence, it is one of the best melodies to witness. While one may wonder what could make a professional choir more vibrant and wonderful, the answer is Rick Astley. According to My Modern Met, the famous singer once decided to surprise Canada’s popularly loved "Choir Choir Choir" with the best gift ever after the choir reached out to him with a message. The choir that has captivated the hearts of many with their tunes and talent, chose to shoot their shot with the “Never gonna give you up” artist about five years ago. Addressing the singer in a video, Choir Choir Choir asked him to join them for a performance when he was in Canada.

The founder of the choir, Daveed Goldman, says in their video, “Hey Rick Astley, how are you? We know you’re coming to Toronto and we’d like to sing for you.” After a short, soothing message, the choir joined in singing the famous “Never Gonna Give You Up” as a mock audition for the singer to consider. Of course, the choir meant it as a wholesome gesture and never actually expected the artist to turn up.

However, Astley has been touching hearts with his music and his charming personality for decades and decided to do something wonderful. Two weeks later, the artist seemed to have given a green signal to the choir and they posted on their Instagram: “Secrets out. We are doing ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ with Rick Astley tonight at Clinton’s. Seriously? Cross our hearts? Yes.”
