Families are a big source of happiness and support in our lives. It is important to stay connected with our loved ones and some come up with unique and adorable ways to do so. Sabrina Clendenin, a mother of 3, recently shared one such heartwarming tradition between her husband and her daughters. In a TikTok video posted on December 2, 2022, Clendeninn shared that she found a number of notes her husband had written for their daughters and tucked into their lunches since the beginning of the school year, reports Good Morning America

The 33-year-old said that she was aware that her husband, Jordan Clendenin, and their three daughters had a strong bond. However, she was surprised when she realized how many lunch notes her daughters had saved and how much they actually valued one another. Her video shows a table covered with some of the notes Jordan penned for his girls. Clendenin said: "When I came across them all stuffed in a drawer, I was like, 'What in the world?' and then I started reading them and... I got a little emotional because I didn't know he was even doing specific days."

Jordan had written notes for "What am I Wednesday," "Fun Fact Friday" and "Motivational Monday." Clendenin said: "And the fact that the girls kept them, I think that's what meant so much and they just enjoy it every day, clearly." She added that the tradition isn't new for them, but she has recently noticed her husband becoming very creative with his notes. He attempts to boost the kids' confidence with heartfelt messages expressing how much he loves them.

According to his wife, Jordan also includes a little picture, a remark, a puzzle, or a bit of trivia in his notes on some days in the hopes of motivating the children to communicate with their friends. The "Fun Fact Friday" notes, Clendenin said, have proven a major success with the girls. The mother added: "He just gives them this great confidence that I think every child in general needs growing up."

The video went viral on TikTok, gaining over 2 million views and over 130k likes. One TikTok user commented, "This makes me so emotional, I would have loved to have a dad like this." Another added, "I wished I would have taken the time out every morning to do that for my daughter. I bet these girls grow up to be spectacular women."

Clendenin was shocked to see the overwhelmingly positive response to her video on the social media platform. She said, "It definitely blew up on TikTok. It was overall just a sweet reaction. There [are] some dads like, 'Wow, I'm kind of inspired to start writing notes and do that because obviously, it means a lot to them.' So I think that's really cute. I thought that was sweet to see all those dads be like, 'I'm gonna step up my game.'"

She doesn't think that this beautiful tradition between her husband and daughters will end anytime soon. She said, "I don't think he can stop now. I think he's locked in for life. They're gonna be in college and they're gonna expect those notes."
