The two had planned to go to the bookstore before Lizzy got a fever. Her boyfriend brought the bookstore to her.
As a book lover, Lizzy, who goes by @bumblebeezus on TikTok, was excited to visit her nearby bookstore and get a few books for herself. However, she fell sick and had to stay back home. Her boyfriend wanted her to have the bookstore experience anyway and so he built her a bookstore display at home. In a heartwarming video shared online, Lizzy is seen flaunting the bookstore display.
When the video starts, Lizzy looks a little upset, but soon we see her smiling. "We were supposed to go to the bookstore together until I got a fever. Today he told me to leave the room and wait," the text overlay on the video reads. She patiently waited for her boyfriend to ask her to come into the room and when she finally entered, she got the most heartwarming surprise.
Lizzy's boyfriend gives her a canvas shopping bag as she enters the room. “I didn’t know he had my wishlist,” the text overlay reads. “But he bought some of the books and created a shop display for me.” In the room, we can see a table where several books are displayed like in an actual bookstore. There is also a sign on the table that is decorated with flowers and butterflies and reads, “Libros for when you’re feeling ill, bro.
” Lizzy picks up a book for herself. "I’m not okay,” she writes. “And yes, I might’ve cried, but I do feel better.” Just when we thought, this sweet video could not get more adorable, it ends with Lizzy and her boyfriend reading by each other's sides.
TikTok users were quick to comment on how adorable this video was. @Adannia wrote, "This is SO CUTE." @Marie wrote, "This is the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life." @Penguin Teen wrote, "This. I want this kind of love." @Finley even gave Lizzy advice, "If you are not married to him. Marry him. Or just keep him around. He is a good one." @LittleMeowMeow wrote, "Girl, you won."
In another beautiful story about love and extra efforts, a boyfriend won hearts online after he made a custom lifejacket for his girlfriend's 23-year-old goldfish to help it get back to swimming. In a video posted by Aidan Cramer, who goes by @aidancramer on TikTok, the goldfish is flapping around at the bottom of a hospital tank, "where we put sick fish, so we can treat them and try and get them better," Cramer explained in another post.
According to Newsweek, he then built "a life jacket" for the ailing fish using a cork and an old bikini string to "give her some buoyancy." Cramer said: "Eventually we got her swimming again. The video then shows the goldfish swimming around the tank while wearing a custom-made life jacket. These stories, of love, romantic gestures and looking out for each other truly melt our hearts.
