Hasty Pudding Theatricals of Harvard University has chosen Jennifer Coolidge as 'Woman of the Year'. According to CBS News, The White Lotus actor received the honor on February 4 from the third-oldest theater company in the world. Additionally, they organized a procession for her through Cambridge's streets to honor her outstanding accomplishment. The beloved aunt of everyone made a good impression at the parade by donning an animal print coat with a fluffy pink hat for added style. According to WNBC, the star even broke down in tears at one point and said she wished her father had been present. She said, "I’ve been so blown away that this experience is happening. I never saw it coming. It blows away any sort of movie or television show I have ever done. Seriously, my dad went here. I wish he was here. His brothers went here and everything, so it’s a big deal." Producer Sarah Mann said, "It is an absolute dream for us to honor Jennifer Coolidge as our Woman of the Year on the heels of her recent accolades for The White Lotus. We know our Pudding Pot will look phenomenal alongside her new Golden Globe, and we swear we won't whisk her away to a palazzo in Palermo!"

Recently, Reese Witherspoon's announcement that Coolidge will reprise her role as the nail technician, Paulette Bonafonté, in the eagerly anticipated Legally Blonde 3 prompted celebrations.

Witherspoon told Entertainment Tonight, "There is no Legally Blonde 3 without Jennifer Coolidge." The 2001 original movie follows sorority girl Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon), who enrolls in Harvard Law School after her boyfriend dumps her. Without a doubt, the third movie will bring viewers up to speed on the pink-loving dog aficionado's legal career. The release date for Legally Blonde 3 was initially set for Valentine's Day in 2020 after it was officially announced in 2018. Covid, which also held down many other film and television productions in development, caused the initial release date to be postponed until May 2022 before being pushed further.

As we reported earlier, Coolidge took home the prize for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Limited Series/Anthology or Motion Picture at the 2023 Golden Globes. The event's high point included more than just her receiving the prize, though. According to The Vulture, she continued with an uncensored and skillfully delivered statement that moved Mike White, the creator of the show, to tears. She made a personal and professional reference and described White Lotus as a pivotal moment in her life. She said, "It really means a lot. Thank you. Wow. I just want to say, some of the people in this room, there were like five people that kept me going for, you know, 20 years with these little jobs. And Ryan Murphy, you were one of them. It’s these little jobs that kept me going."
