A $100K-salary earner's daily life surprises all, challenging common misconceptions about high earners' routines.
There are many misconceptions about a lot of jobs. One of them is that high-paying jobs tend to be careers that are inherently stressful and demanding. While that may be true for some positions, it need not extend to others. Many high-paying roles offer employees a healthy work-life balance. TikTok user Nick Park (@sewoongpark0) happens to be one of those fortunate individuals who landed a relatively stress-free job with a $100K salary.
He has posted two videos on his page where he reveals what he does in his highly paid position. The first video, captioned, "Who wants my job?" has got 202.2K likes and 1258 comments on the site. We get to see Park sitting in front of his computer with a text overlay reading, "Here is what $100k salary work looks like." We get to see him be very relaxed as he works.
Viewers then get to see a text overlay reading, "Checking emails and making reports and planning." He also mentions how he is able to work independently without having to talk to anyone. People on the platform were highly curious about the nature of his work and posted their queries in the comments section. @parisstyl asked, "Can you show me what you do on a day-to-day basis at work? I major in supply chain and I'm gonna graduate really soon."
Park responded to @parisstyl's comment with a second video where he showcased a bit more of what he actually did. At the beginning, viewers get to see a text overlay reading, "Daily routine of my $50/hr job." He mentions how he mostly checks emails and the company's logistics for most of the morning. After that from 10 AM till noon, he focuses his efforts on building reports and checking them for any problems. From 1 PM to 5 PM, Park is responsible for making sure all the operations are executed according to plan and checks the system.
He mentions how he gets a lot of "free time" during his work. Park shares how he utilizes this time to work on self-improvement or his own business. He concludes the video by asking people on the platform if they had any other questions. Sure enough, people had a few questions in the comments section. @user23344232 asked, "What are reports like? And are you interacting with clients?"
Park replied, saying, "Excel, Word. Usually, companies have reports format and you just have to update with the same format." @suudood inquired, "I do exactly that but I'm far from being paid 100K. What's your job title?" Park clarified his position, saying, "Carrier management/logistic analyst, planner."
People also shared how they found Park's work a "dream job." @joeshmoe18_ wrote: "This is the kind of job I want." @leonormatta added: "My dream job." @rinnastarcdj chimed in: "A dream come true. The ability to plan, execute and work in silence...dream come true."
