Christmas is a fun time of the year full of love, songs and gifts but according to this young woman, the gifts have to be perfect.

It's time to be jolly again because Christmas is just right around the corner. Fairy lights, hot chocolate, fuzzy socks and lots of cuddles, the holiday is all about the little joys in life. Christmas allows you to spend some much-needed quality time with your loved ones. The highlights, of course, are the gifts you give and the ones you receive. It can often feel like a bummer if you don't get the gifts you want. Jenna Lu—who goes by @itsjennalu on TikTok—told her parents what she wanted for Christmas. However, instead of having a conversation about it like any other person, she chose a quirky approach. She delivered an extensive PowerPoint presentation for what she wants for Christmas.

The video starts with her explaining to them how they bombed her gifts the previous year. Before she moved on to her gift list, she first said some things she believed her family should keep in mind while getting her gifts. She started by mentioning the repercussions of not getting her the presents she liked. She smirked and said, "First of all, I'm the only one who knows how to reset the Wi-Fi. And yeah, that's a threat." Next, she mentioned that if she didn't get the gift she wanted, she would just "get a sugar daddy." She has so many offers for the same that it is almost unreal. Lastly, she says that if she fails to get the gifts she wants, she will have to sell her feet pictures online again, as she did the previous year.

Jenna likes her presents and has hence gone through the work of making a 3-tier level system for the same. According to her, the first level refers to her receiving 4 to 7 gifts and is called "I'm gonna need therapy." She mentioned that it would probably result in her going into a "depressive spiral." She adds, "And what would that mean for you guys? It would mean you have to pay for my therapy. The thousands of dollars you would spend on therapy for me are wasted because you guys could have bought me a bunch of gifts right now and avoided the whole situation." The second level, known as "You're getting warmer," may be better than level one but is equivalent to someone merely texting you a "happy birthday," according to Jenna. This level includes 8 to 15 gifts. The last level, hilariously called "You're Sleighing It," is reached if Jenna receives over 25 gifts. She mentions how they missed the mark last year, as they got her 23 gifts.

Motivating her family towards the end, she says, "I think this is totally doable for you guys. I have tons of ideas for you guys and this slide deck is already in your email." A lot of viewers had conflicting opinions about Jenna's expectations. While some people like @hammyysspammyy twinned with her, saying, "Stop, I used the exact same template for my Christmas wishlist," or when @allygirl789 said, "This made my day, thank you. Reference that list," others couldn't relate to or agree with Jenna. @larslifediary said, "My parents would laugh in my face and say Ya okay in your dreams and then proceed to say they can't believe I would even say that, but you go girl!"

Another viewer, @theworkingammy, jokingly commented, "Last year I made a Christmas list and my dad told me, 'Yeah, we didn't get you anything on the list.' so now they're paying for my therapy." Gifts are an important part of Christmas. While people can have conflicting opinions about what is okay and what isn't, as long as the ones around you get you, that's enough. In her epic words, Jenna said at the end of her videos, "Open up your hearts and your wallet to me this holiday season!"
