People are motivated by diverse factors when pursuing their studies and obtaining a college degree. For some, it's their zeal to do something for the world; for others, it's the urge to do something for themselves. Brionna Washington's dad wanted a chance to graduate from college after his hopes to do so were dashed in his final year following his mother's tragic demise. Thankfully, years later, he got the opportunity to graduate from college.

Brionna, known on TikTok as @_brionnaofficial, shared her father's graduation ceremony on the platform, and the internet could not stop applauding.

"I mean me and my aunts were torn up!!!! I'm so proud of my Daddy!!! He is the epitome of walking in your purpose and not for society! He has shown me once again it's never too late to finish and for that and so much more I love you & thank you," she added in the caption.

In the video, the daughter is seen cheering for her dad at his convocation alongside her two aunts. The dad, on the other hand, can be seen waving back at Brionna, who cannot hold back her tears. The video concludes with an image of her dad walking with his degree in hand.

Parents are often present to cheer for their kids at their convocation. However, it's not unheard of for a daughter to cheer for their father. In another similar story, a little girl cheers for her dad in her sweet voice as he collects his degree on stage. "Congratulations, Daddy!" she shouted from the audience in the video uploaded by her dad, Aashish Nalawade. The little girl's reaction made the crowd go "Awww." The dad then responded from the stage, "Love you," to which she screamed back, "Love you, Daddy." This time, a louder "aww" was heard from the audience. The woman handing the certificates finally announced his name, and he went ahead to collect his degree. The video gained more than a million views.

Stories like the one of Brionna's father emphasize that it's never too late for anyone to pursue or complete their higher education. Life often presents challenges, but the key is how we adapt to these situations. Support from loved ones can make a significant difference in navigating these obstacles effectively. This is precisely what Brionna and her family provided for her father. Their heartwarming story serves as a powerful inspiration for families everywhere, reminding us that with love and support, anything is possible.
