The worker asked her colleagues, both men and women, to show their keys and what she discovered was amusingly accurate.
Men and women are sometimes very different in the way they function. But who would have thought that the dissimilarity would be as minute as their style of arriving at their offices or their keychains? Hunter, who goes by @hd33333 on TikTok, had earlier gained traction for making a video on how differently men and women arrive in office. When a person commented that she should do a video comparing women's and men's keys, she went ahead with it. It begins with Hunter asking her colleague if she can see her keys.
The woman takes it out from her handbag and it has too many keychains including a hand sanitizer. It looks quite hefty. They both laugh looking at it. Next, she goes to another female co-worker who can be seen writing on a notepad and asks her the same question. Her keychain is not as huge as the first person's but still has a few keys, including a car's. Next colleague smiles at the camera and takes out her keychain from her bag. She has quite a few keys in grey, yellow, and white and she shows them all to Hunter.
The last female colleague who showed her keys had keyrings in red and pink with a floral design. After talking to all these women, Hunter then starts to ask men if she could see their keys and the first person just throws a single car key and so does the next man after asking what key she wants to look at. The next two men who showed the keys at least had a few extra ones along with their car keys but obviously no keychains. Hunter can be heard laughing after seeing such a stark difference in how men and women carry their keys.
People were amazed by seeing this difference. @hexastore commented, "If I had pockets for my keys I also wouldn’t bulk them up lol, but bulk makes them easier to find in the purse void." @rkrogh wrote, "Carrying house keys on car keys is a huge no-no." @gazzott shared why he chooses to have fewer keys. "I like them to fit comfortably in my pocket." @maldangaming also gave a reason, "Too many keys on the keychain can break the ignition on the car because of the weight. that is but one reason I barely have any keys."
Responding to the same thought, @kimmyyyyyyy13 said, "Why are we like this? Our poor cars' ignition are probably on their last leg." @jalupe.halflono commented, "The difference between pocket keys and handbag keys. I have been referring to our keys at home like this for years." While many agreed that the difference shown in Hunter's clip was indeed accurate, others believed it was all about preferences.
