There are certain behaviors that society has normalized for specific genders throughout the years. However, we can only get what other genders go through or understand the gravity of the situation when the roles are reversed. In order to highlight behaviors that have been normalized for men, which are not their nicest traits, a trend is doing the rounds on TikTok, where women do some of the worst things men have done to them. The trend, known as #womeninmalefields, has gotten quite popular on the platform, with over 146k posts. One of the creators, Emily Handley–who goes by @emhandley on the platform–shared her take on the trend.

In the overlay text of her video, she wrote, "He sent me a paragraph of how he felt and I replied with a, 'I don't know what you want me to say.'" She shared that the trend was one of her new favorites through the caption. The woman struck various innocent poses as she revealed what she did with her partner. Her video has garnered over 156k views.

Following the trend, another creator, Marah Snoubar Ziedan–who goes by @marah_snoubar on the platform–shared the way some men often downplay how their partner feels or blame them for spoiling the mood. "When he responds appropriately to something I did and I hit him with, 'Can we please just have a good day today?'" Her video has garnered over 91k views. Many other people also shared things that would be considered unacceptable if they had happened to men instead.

Hopping on the trend, another woman, Daniela Saltão–who goes by @dsaltaoo on the platform–shared the difficult experience of confronting a partner about how they interact with other people on social media. She talked about a situation when men deny something, even if that makes their partner uncomfortable. "When he asked me why I liked that guy's photo and I told him I like every photo on Instagram," she wrote in the overlay text. Her video has garnered over 245k views.

Another woman–who goes by @patrickbatmanya on the platform–shared how rudely some men react after being rejected by a crush. She assumed that position and expressed, "When I confessed to my crush, but he rejected me, so I hit him with a, 'You are mid anyway.'" The caption read, "I am a minority, I fear." Her video has garnered over 436k views.

He told me he didn't know how to deal with that and turned around to go to sleep." @samdiane96 expressed, "Every single one of these has been said/done by my ex to me while we were together."
