In an age of e-commerce and delivery services, it's not uncommon for packages to get mixed up or to end up at a neighbor's doorstep. But while it's the right thing to return the package to the delivery person or to the neighbor it belongs to, not everyone can resist good food. While eating someone's food is problematic, a woman made it right with her sweet gesture. Becca Barnoski, who goes by @beccabarnoski on TikTok, shared a slideshow describing what happened between her and her neighbor. It begins with her sharing the screenshot of the conversation between them that started when Barnoski texted her neighbor, "There's a DoorDash from Duck Donuts at my door. Delivered at 1:07 today. Nobody came to get it. Morally, can it be mine?"

They responded, "Yes, it can. Lol, eat it. It's been two hours. Legally yours now." The next slide has a picture of a box of 4 donuts. The text overlay reads, "So, I ate them..." After this, she adds a picture of two half-eaten donuts before sharing that she came home four hours later to this note on her door, "Help! Missing Duck Donuts - Kush in 204."

She then showed a screenshot of a message she received from her neighbor. They told her, "It's totally fine! Congratulations on the baby! I am glad they went to a good home and hope you enjoyed them. They were a surprise from my cousin, which is why we weren't expecting them - thank you for letting us know and please don't worry at all." She added that the neighbor did not accept any reimbursements. To make it up to her neighbor, Barnoski decided to gift them something special. She shared a picture of a card she left at her neighbor's door. It read, "Hi guys! Congratulations on your marriage! I'm so sorry I ate your donuts! Please enjoy a dinner on us."

She attacked a dining gift card with it for a restaurant called "Texas de Brazil,"  and signed off the card as "Zac and Becca (Apt 202)." The text overlay read, "I couldn't help but feel guilty that my fat a** can't resist unsupervised snacks, so I left this on their door." The video is captioned, "Do you think we're good? Am I the worst? Yes. Does it make up for it? Maybe?" In any case, people loved the sweet gesture from Barnoski. @ashrose183 commented, "That was so sweet of you and Texas de Brazil is fire, not mediocre at all." @user0471657591666499836 wrote, "Not only is Texas de Brazil delicious, but it's also very expensive. These people in the comments need to be more grateful."

@livesinleggingss expressed, "People are dramatic, you both were sweet and the gift of the GC was beyond the worth of the donuts." @winterknight27 said, "When did Texas de Brazil become mediocre?! That place is so good and pretty pricey. You did an amazing thing! Most people probably wouldn't have said anything." @raeraemua commented, "Stop are you kidding? To Texas de Brazil! I love that place! I will take Texas de Brazil any day of the week. I'm sure they loved it." @username.myname.isnot asked, "Did it not have the address on it that you could just take it to their door?" To which she replied, "It didn't! And I don't know all my neighbors, so I didn't recognize the name. I 10000% would've brought it if I'd known."
