A person has to think of a lot of aspects before they start dating someone. Now, even though there are some usual things that everyone considers, the rest boils down to personal preferences. However, a millionaire's wife has landed on the wrong side of people on the internet after suggesting that people shouldn't date a broke man. The woman, Sofia Kralow—who goes by @sofiakralow on TikTok—posted a video with the caption, "Raise your standards," and it didn't sit well with many people.

The video's text overlay read, "Your daily reminder to never date broke men." The video had clips of the couple going on a holiday, dancing in front of a helicopter, going around in a fancy car and so on. She also flaunted a Yves Saint Laurent purse, multiple notes, a fancy restaurant and a car as a gift. The video received over 1.4 million views and more than 216.5k likes. People took to the comments section to express their thoughts on what the woman suggested.

@jerseygirl0123 wrote, "So we’re going back 100 years to being dependent on a man’s salary again? Great message." @yektasakha commented, "Relationship is not all about money, being with someone who’s not rich but is working hard to achieve their goals doesn’t mean you are lowering your standards. There are so many things more important than money in a relationship and I don't know how y’all can accept expensive gifts without feeling bad." @bennyarthur2002 expressed, "For me, I'd better be rich all alone and date a guy who's loyal and makes good money or rather die single with my money."

@bullfish01 remarked, "Good for you living the life you value. Some of us aren’t as materialistic and seek other qualities in our partners but I say live and let live." @ong.hui.sheng shared, "Depends on what is the definition of broke. If the broke guy has a roof over his head, food to eat, has a conveyance and saves money, I don't think he's broke."

In response to a comment that said that Kralow was giving out a message that women should be dependent on a man's money, the woman made another video. "Good morning world. I just woke up and saw this comment under my recent TikTok about never dating a broke man," Kralow pointed out. "Can someone explain to me please, where is the connection between never dating a broke man and being dependent on a rich man or any man?" She added, "Because if you are dating a rich man, you can be rich by yourself too." She captioned the video, "Is there any connection? Or I don't know something?"

People had mixed opinions about her response. @theonlygoat_0 wrote, "If you are rich by yourself and don’t need money why can’t you just date a man who cares about you even though he’s not rich but I get it women aren't built like that." @kristinahus1 commented, "My experience in dating broke men means problems because their struggle and problems will be yours. I wish I learned that earlier." @livtribehustle remarked, "Some people can’t comprehend that a woman can still earn her own income and not want a broke man...shocking revelation."
