Woman's poignant video chronicling dad's impact on her life shows importance of supportive parents

Fathers and daughters share a truly distinct bond that is characterized by its depth, complexity and enduring nature. For most little girls, their father ends up being their first male role model. The relationship is a wonderful one that arises out of mutual love and respect. We might be past Father's Day but influencer Millie, who goes by the name @wholesome.mils on Instagram, gets to celebrate it everyday. She dedicated a "belated Father's Day post" to her dad with a caption that she began by saying, "Everyone deserves a John." The short clip consists of the creator describing her wonderful father and everything he does for her. She starts off by saying, "I want to introduce you to my dad, John." 

Millie then begins to list all of her dad's special qualities. She states how he once drove 14 hours to pick her up from somewhere, without her asking. The man also has a tremendous amount of patience living in a house with three women who never seem to be ready on time. Her dad has an album on his phone that he calls the "cute album" where he keeps photos of his better half. John also has a liking for sweet treats and their pet cat. Owing to his sweet tooth, he often utilizes his baking skills to make his daughter's cakes that are gluten and dairy free. 

According to her, he expresses his love for someone over acts of service. As she says this we get to see her hold up a marshmallow with the text overlay reading, "Always makes sure I have the perfectly roasted marshmallow!" Whenever her father picks her up from the airport he firmly insists on carrying all the luggage to the car. The father and daughter also share a common love for coffee. She then reveals that her father often takes candid photos of her. 

She begins to conclude her clip by saying, "John is just here for a good time. He loves to dance and party. And he's also incredibly talented." Mille adds that no one makes her laugh like he does before saying, "No matter, whether it's your dad or not, we all deserve a John in our lives." In the final shot, we see the father and daughter embracing with the text overlay reading, "Love you!" In the post caption, she mentions how lucky she is to have such a father.

She also shared how someone told her, "I might not have had a John growing up, but it brings me peace to know I have the power to choose a John for my future children." Millie then gave a shout-out to all the fathers in the world. Users on the platform loved the wholesome video and complimented her dad in the comments section. @calliopes_lyre commented, "You should tell your dad that the entire internet wants a dad like him." @haider_khokar23 said, "This is the sweetest thing... you are definitely lucky to have John in you life."
