A small helping hand and a kind gesture can mean the world to moms going through postpartum or new parents. Knowing this, Victoria Yavnyi, a content creator and mom–who goes by the name @toriyav on TikTok–posted a video on how she tries to help struggling mothers. It started a trend online where other creators are also helping in whatever way they can.

The video begins with Yavnyi sitting in her car, writing notes and showing them on camera. Next, she is seen at a supermarket and putting some money in boxes of diapers and other baby products, along with the note. The text overlay read, "She deserved the purse." After this, she showed what she wrote in these notes. It read, "Hey Mama! You are doing amazing. Here's a coffee on me," along with a heart emoji and her name at the end. She continued to put $5 in some more boxes of diapers and formula. People in the comments were impressed by what she did.

@calebrye.stone commented, "Everyone else was putting 20s and 20s, and seeing you put the small, simple 5s and the 1 ten makes me feel like I can do this too. I don't have to put 100s of dollars to give away." @missjudy_01 wrote, "I bet whoever got it felt like a million bucks and made their day. Thank you." @mirandmallory shared, "This is what I would love to do if I ever come into money. You are blessing some mommas on what could be the worst day for them! Sweet girl." @elementallove0463 expressed, "That's precious. I've been struggling so hard lately with going through a pregnancy alone and raising my daughter. Such a sweet gesture." @courteneycamrey0 said, "Oh my God! I love this! I do not have lots of money, but this is so kind I'm so doing this."

In a follow-up video, Yavnyi spoke about why she wanted to do this for mothers. "This makes me so emotional. I remember postpartum was the hardest time of my life. I wished to get a little note, a coffee, or a gift card - it would have made my entire day." She also shared that she gave away bills instead of gift cards. "So many creators are giving away $100 gift cards, which is so wonderful. For those of you who don't have that much to give, it could also inspire you to join in. Any little thing can make parent's day better. That was the message I wanted to put across."

She also captioned the post with a similar message, "Most people are giving away $20s, $50s, or $100s and that's absolutely incredible, but unfortunately, that's not realistic for most people to participate in. So I decided to give away $10s and $5s to show that a good deed is a good deed and anyone can participate." People appreciated Yavnyi for her kind act. @jacelynjudi_ commented, "You are awesome! Definitely shows that it's not all about the huge dollar amount or the big things that get left. The little things matter so much." @amandakleven wrote, "So sweet." @fridarmirez expressed, "You are such an angel."
