People often wake up in the middle of the night due to some strange noises around or pets meowing or barking at something. However, when this woman stirred from her sleep in the early hours of the morning, she saw something truly unexpected on the streets near her house. Jocelyn–who goes by @jauntyjoss on TikTok–posted a video of what she saw outside her house and people on the internet loved watching the neighborhood's little visitors.
In the video, Jocelyn opens a window and shows a herd of sheep walking on the street below her house. There were so many that they were even outside her neighbor's house. The text overlay read, "Not what you expect to see when checking what the noise was at 2 am." Meanwhile, some of the animals were seen eating leaves and grass from the lawns. Then, the herd slowly started to walk ahead. There was no one seen herding these animals, so it is unknown how they reached these streets. Moreover, they were not causing any issues for the neighborhood as it was so late that no one had to take their cars out of their driveways.
People in the comments loved what the woman saw in the middle of the night. @pumpkinpalx commented, "Imagine telling a kid to count sheep to fall asleep, then they come in your room and hour later like, 'Mum, I counted all the sheep outside.'" @givethisguyahug wrote, "The sheep at the back definitely thinking we should have taken a left 5 miles ago." @robyn0820 expressed, "Not going to lie, I have had to get the flock out of someone's garden on more than one occasion, lol." @emmaarrghh said, "Where's little Bo Peep when you need her." @user3906858748736 joked, "They are just walking home from a work party as no taxis are available."
In another story, a woman saw something unusual when she looked up for her old home on Google Maps. The woman, Jen, wasn't expecting what she saw, leaving her teary-eyed. She shared images of her old house, which can be seen on Google Maps, on social media. It featured a white dog sitting at one of the ground floor windows of the house. She captioned the post, "I looked up my old house on Google Maps and saw my pup, who has now passed away, in the window." The woman told Newsweek, "He was rescued initially, he was my first dog. He passed away a while ago, so it was quite surreal to see him in the window of our old house."
She shared, "He was a Staffordshire bull terrier cross Dogo Argentino. I don't have any information on his previous owners or how he was kept, but I just know they didn't want him, so we took him in." She also spoke about how Ice had a tough time before being adopted into their family. She added interesting details about her former pet. "Ice loved a tummy rub, as all dogs do, and lying in the sun. We used to put sunscreen on his ears so they didn't burn, with him being white and having short, fine hair."
