A woman exacted sweet petty revenge on her ex-boyfriend by doing a dramatic reading of her ex's 'BS apology' set against 'sad' violin music. Jax, a 25-year-old musician, exacted sweet revenge on her ex-boyfriend, who cheated on Jax with her roommate. He sent an 'apology' text that wasn't an apology at all and instead tried to gaslight her, blaming her for him cheating on her. This wasn't your regular ex-boyfriend 'I'm sorry' text and Jax felt his insincerity and audacity needed a background track to really elevate it and boy, did she come through. Jax roped in fellow musician Lindsey Stirling to play the violin as she took him down in majestic fashion. Jackie Miskanic, who goes by Jax (@jaxwritessongs) on TikTok, shared the performance on the platform where she has more than 7.7m followers, according to Comicsands.

"Adding sad violins to my ex’s bs apology text featuring the incredible @lindseystirling ❤️," Jax captioned the video. "Hey, I know you're probably never going to forgive me for what happened, but I wanted a chance to explain," starts Jax, adopting a fake apologetic tone as she reads her ex's text. Stirling starts playing sad tunes on her violin, elevating the performance. "I know it wasn't right that I 'technically' hooked up with your roommate, but I've been going through a lot and that's not who I am," Jax continues.

As the text attempts to gaslight Jax, Stirling ups the ante, making the violin sound more dramatic and infinitely sad. "I've been failing most of my classes, and you know I just got fired. I would really appreciate it if you would show me some sort of sympathy and stop treating me like a villain," he wrote. "Plus you've been really busy at work and I've been feeling really alone. It was a one-time mistake."

Stirling then joins in and they harmonize together for the next two lines. "I love you so much more than Emily, What am I supposed to tell my family?" If cheating on her wasn't enough, he then asks for the Netflix password, at the end of the apology letter! Jax reads out the final lines, "I'm really sorry ok.. ... ... Also, did you change the Netflix password?"

The video went viral on TikTok and has been viewed more than 4.3 million times, garnering 662k likes. People couldn't get enough of the video. "This video is why TikTok was invented. It has everything. Drama. Great interpretive reading. Inspirational music. Harmonizing. Two badass women. Netflix," they commented. Many couldn't believe the audacity of the ex-boyfriend to send her the text. "'I love you so much more than Emily.' The wording implies he has feelings for the roommate, just not as much as you, so it's fine? What even are men," wrote one TikTok user. "How does one differentiate between "technically" and "actually" hooking up with someone?" asked one person. One person on TikTok couldn't help but make the Friends reference. "Did Ross write this text?" they commented.

Jax is a signed musician with Atlantic records who came in 3rd on American Idol in 2015. Everyone loved Jax's performance so much that she has decided to do a series of cringe apology texts from others by incorporating sad violin numbers and we can't wait!
