Woman thought her husband was being honored. Then they read out her name and she burst into tears

Very rarely are women's achievements and efforts celebrated or rewarded. They often participate in the community and do several charitable efforts that often go unrecognized. However, in a pleasant surprise, a woman was honored for all her volunteer work, and she didn't have a clue until they read out her name. A video posted by Good News Correspondent on Twitter shows a woman thinking that her husband was being honored at the event. She can be seen ready with a camera to capture this proud moment. However, as she was waiting for her husband's name to be announced, she heard her name called out from the stage.

She looks absolutely shocked and stares at everyone in disbelief. The text inlay reads: "It wasn't until this moment she realized it was her being recognized for her volunteer work over the years for the community." The woman bursts into tears and gets visibly emotional as she struggles to believe that her efforts are actually being recognized.

He goes in with a big smile on his face and bows to express his appreciation for their kind welcome.

Pääbo oversaw ground-breaking research on ancient DNA that altered our view of human origins. He mapped the DNA of long-extinct Neanderthals from 40,000-year-old bone pieces, a feat hailed as "seemingly impossible" by Nobel committee member Anna Wedell.
