Some incidents bring people closer than ever before. It connects them in ways people usually do not think are possible. Similarly, a woman's sorority sister and friend of 18 years became her savior when she became her kidney donor after learning they were a match. The women who have spent their lives together experienced a big moment of joy when a friend told Jess Hause—who goes by @jesshause11 on TikTok—the big news. Hause took to the platform to share it.

As the video began, 37-year-old Hause's friend  Megan Schultz called her and greeted her. "I have some exciting news for you," Schultz sweetly told her friend. "I am a match." Hause gasped in surprise as she heard the news. She couldn't believe what she heard as her friend confirmed the news. "I have been through all of the testing and everything," Schultz said reaffirming what she mentioned. "Oh my god! I can't believe this," Hause expressed as she broke down in tears. On the other end, Schultz continued to express her excitement about getting to help her friend in such a wonderful way. "Megan, I love you more," a woman from Hause's end came into the frame and said as the friends were having their moment.

"Did you find out today?" Hause asked. Her friend replied in the affirmative. She enquired what the doctors said. "Well, I had gone through all the testing and then I had to do a retest," she explained while giving other details about the procedure to her emotional friend. "There was a conference where all of the doctors were at. I just found out today. She called and said that they got the results of the redo test and it's all good." Hause further questioned, "What now, what did they say?" The friend recounted, "They said I got to call and tell you and then she said to let her know, so I'll email her tonight."

"I am so happy, you have no idea. I can't thank you enough," Hause told her friend as she broke down again. "This has been so hard." Schultz's voice cracked too as she replied, "I know and you've been so strong and it's been amazing watching you." Hause whispered, wiping her tears, "I love you so much. The past two weeks have been really hard, the waiting." The other person praised Schultz, "You are an angel." The woman admitted, "It's funny how God puts certain people in your life." The friend agreed and said that the timing was perfect as well. Hause captioned the video, "I'm still in complete and utter shock…I FOUND MY MATCH!!!! I couldn't have prayed for anyone better."
