And no, I am most definitely not hyping this up too much.
"It's only taken me 40 years, but I now know the correct way to close a cereal box," Becky shared on Facebook. "Genius. It takes seconds, no more dried-up cereal and ugly torn boxes to greet me every morning." Her step-by-step guide to neatly sealing cereal boxes gained attention on social media and was watched over three million times in just about 4 days. People were blown away by the simple hack and soon began sharing pictures of their newly sealed cereal boxes that are so soothing to look at, they would get the Marie Kondo seal of approval.
Speaking to Bored Panda, the mother-of-two from Blackpool, UK, revealed that she never expected her post would go so viral. "It was accidental, I never in a million years thought it would be viewed 3 million times," she said, adding that she feels "incredibly lucky, all the comments and feedback has been really kind or funny."
Becky explained that she hadn't known of this nifty little trick up until recently and that "the next morning, I thought I'd give it a go with the numerous cereal boxes we have and couldn't believe how simple it was."
