Woman who loves avocados stunned to discover her grandma had planted one 20 years ago in their backyard

Words fall short when it comes to describing the love grandparents have for their grandchildren. Sometimes, they secretly do things that eventually leave a deep impact on future generations after their passing. In a similar way, a grandma “planted” a surprise that blew the minds of her extended family members years after her passing. Her granddaughter, Nicole Bouzaa (@nicolebouzaa), recently took to Instagram to unveil the “fruits of a happy life” that her grandmother left behind—tons of avocados.

The butter fruit has the internet buzzing, this time not for its health benefits, but for a special reason. Nicole started by showing a plant’s seed that fascinated her grandma. “Growing up, our grandmother would have this hanging around our house everywhere. You would find a little seed of some sort everywhere,” the video creator told her millions of viewers. Following this, Nicole stepped outside her family home with a tiny avocado in her hand.

She stepped on the alligator pear while "chit-chatting" with her “wonderful” neighbor, Ralph. “I look at my feet and I see this. That's an avocado. What the heck is an avocado doing in our backyard?” the content creator asked her friend. More so, Nicole was taken aback by the “discovery” as she looked around to see more of them on the ground. “Look, there are more avocados! And I'm like...someone's throwing avocados in our backyard. What's happening?” remarked a confused Nicole, heading to Ralph.

After she told her neighbor about the “weird” finding under her feet, his reaction seemed even more puzzling. Ralph simply pointed to an avocado tree in her backyard, which she had no prior knowledge of. Nicole initially dismissed the claim until she saw it with her own eyes and was left shocked. The giant two-decade-old tree with the single-seeded berries was standing tall. “This is the trunk. It's massive. It goes forever. And it grows so tall. I can't even tell you guys how tall it is,” the woman added.

Upon learning that her grandma planted the tree, Nicole said it was the “best day of her life.” “Like, look at those babies in my backyard,” she remarked, expressing her love for avocados. “I buy those every week,” the content creator concluded with the moral of her story. “The plant seeds that grow fruit for future generations bring immense joy, just as my grandmother once planted them,” she said. The footage has been well received on social media, with people showering love on the late grandma for her thoughtful idea.
