All the awareness raised in favor of addressing mental health issues has gradually been paying off in recent years. Most importantly, people are more inclined toward acknowledging the mental health issue as the internet speaks a lot about it. Many silent heroes are helping people battle problems like depression, anxiety and addiction. Similarly, one such unsung hero is focused on making a change by providing free cleaning services to the homes of people struggling with these issues. Clean with Barbie (@cleanwithbarbie) is an initiative by a New York-based woman that is a boon for those who can't afford a paid professional service.

Having a passion for cleaning, Barbie decided to channel it towards a good cause. When she receives a request for house cleaning from someone with a mental or physical illness, she gears up with her cleaning supplies and sets off to help them out for free. Recently, Barbie became an internet sensation when she flipped an entire house upside down with her exceptional cleaning. The heavily cluttered house that looked almost unliveable was home to a couple who were struggling with addiction issues and depression. For over a year, the place was gathering trash piled up high in every room.

So, Barbie came to the couple's rescue. To revive this place from the miserable condition it was in, the kind-hearted woman dedicated six days. Posting the results on Instagram, Barbie wrote, "Extreme cleaning can be enjoyable, especially knowing that it provides a fresh start for those who have struggled with depression. After cleaning the entire house, they can once again have a home." She was indeed a life-saver because the house was a nightmare with almost no space to sit or lie down. Mountains of garbage and glass bottles collected in the living room, piles of dirty dishes and laundry, inedible expired food in the fridge and the unthinkable condition of the bathroom, she managed to scour it all.

All that mattered to the cleaning enthusiast was giving back the couple a happy home. This transformation was just one of the many free services she had done for many other houses. She simply gave life to the homes that were once an abode of gloom and despair. Sharing the complete video of cleaning the couple's house on YouTube, Barbie sent out a powerful message about the serious impacts of mental health problems. With more than 25000 views, the video touched many hearts online.

You have improved their lives 100%. Tidy and clean improve health a lot. I put your videos and I see the miracle of the transformation. That helps me so much. You are helping people like me with mental health problems to carry on fighting." commented @montserratregueira4117. "It's so soothing to watch you work, so precise. You don't talk too much, beautiful music, amazing transformation. You don't tell constantly how much you love dirt like another famous cleaner does all the time," wrote @kukumaku6498.
