The woman started 'the movement to end workplace bullying abuse' before and she's now sharing tips on how to 'turn the tables on bully bosses.'
Even with a higher salary, people tend to have low job satisfaction if their workplace does not have a healthy environment. This person started “the movement to end workplace bullying” and is now sharing tips on how to “turn the tables on bully bosses.” Christin Peeples, who goes by @bossupcultureorg on TikTok and also founded the Boss Up Culture Org, has now uploaded a video titled “Oh, how I turned the tables on my bully bosses and loved every second.” In it, Peeples shared the times when she “turned the tables” on her senior authorities who were harassing her mentally.
“Wanna know how you can run circles around managers who wanna pull you into the conference room?” Peeples asked the viewers and added, “Well, listen up.” She also revealed how a former boss called her and her senior manager in the conference room and then described him as “totally disrespectful.” “In my mind, I’m like, ‘Chris, he’s playing checkers, you play chess. Piss him off.'" After the rude boss asked her to keep quiet, she said: "I was like, 'You know you’re right. This is your meeting. Go ahead and speak. You were saying?'” and added: “He didn’t have nothing to say. I left it up to my senior manager to say, ‘Please don’t talk to her that way.’”
Peeples remained composed even after her boss did not remain courteous. “They want a reaction out of you. But instead, I flipped the script on him and I was getting all kinds of reactions out of him. He said, ‘She’s carefully crafting her words.’ You guys, I was loving every second," she said and asked her followers to do the same in similar situations. "Next time you get pulled into a conference room, don’t give them what they’re looking for,” she advised. “They want a reaction out of you, but no. Get a reaction out of them. And I’m telling you, love every second of it.”
Peeples's clip has gone viral with 300,000 views and 780 comments. @MamaTaun reacted to it and wrote, "Never engage with the enemy until it's your time/ opportunity to strike. Art of war." @clairestuddard393 commented, "This happened to me. I stayed completely silent while the manager acted like a fool. In the end, he said I don’t like your arrogance."
@joulibrown shared, "At what age did you gather this wisdom because I'm always targeted. Something about our spirit disturbs their demons." @JMC835 wrote, "I had a manager SCREAMING at me and said, 'You sound calm and your words are crafted but you are arguing with me…you’re doing this!'" @BellyRowland expressed, "Listen, they hate when you pull receipts. Keep emails and screen snips of things they ask of you. So that way they can’t say 'I never said that!'" @hebrewgyrl commented: "This is absolutely true! I've mastered this art and some...I've always enjoyed the end result...love it!"
