Job interviews are crucial for any company in the long hiring process. Employers like to test their employees with unusual questions that force them to think creatively. It's important to remember that in most scenarios, there is no right or wrong answer and what really matters is the thought process behind the answers you provide. A woman on TikTok shared an interesting video where she revealed one of the toughest questions that candidates face while interviewing for a job at Google. The video has got 113.4K views and 473 comments on the platform.

She starts the video by saying, "This question stumps the most interviewers at Google." The woman went on to explain the question. Interviewees would be given a hypothetical scenario about a coffee shop located in San Francisco that had unlimited supply and demand. She explains, "It has all the coffee beans, coffee cups, teas in the world." The coffee shop is also quite popular with people, resulting in a customer line that would go all the way around the block.

The coffee shop would have an area of approximately 500 square feet. She then asks the question, "So how many cups of coffee can this coffee shop produce in one day?" With the limited amount of information, it is easy to provide a concrete answer, which means that the interviewee's critical thinking ability is being tested. People who watched the video found the question intriguing and shared their answers in the comments section. @aaardvark_ said, "1500 brewed coffees. Six baristas, one just brewing. 2 minutes to serve each customer. 5 cups X 30/hour. Open 10 hours, so 1500."

Another individual, @shamelesscarbloves, hilariously commented, "The real answer is insufficient data to answer accurately." Other people also agreed with this and @caknute pointed out, "Incomplete information to completely determine." The woman replied to this comment, explaining, "They want to see your thought process. That's why they made it vague to understand your decision-making skills." @fokool highlighted, "The actual answer isn't the answer itself but the step you take in solving the problem. This is a pretty easy question."

Thanks to social media, more people can share their insights on tackling interview questions. @hannagetshired shared a video where she discussed how to answer a very commonly asked question during interviews. The question is, "Tell me why you're interested in this position?" The woman who works as a consultant points out that the question should not be taken lightly and should be answered carefully. She says, "I'm gonna teach you how to answer this question in a way that will blow the socks off your recruiter."

According to her, the answer that the interviewee provides must be able to "demonstrate an understanding of the role." To do this, candidates must thoroughly read the job description and be aware of the responsibilities that come with it. Once they are clear on this, candidates should focus on the tone of their answer. She does mention that most people want a certain job because of the paycheck but that people still need to show a genuine interest in the job.
