Woman shows the effort lunch ladies put in to bring smile on children's faces and it's everything

Lunch ladies are staples at every American school. They are always present during breaks to serve students hot meals so that they can conquer the second half of their day with zeal and energy. The mainstream media has not always been kind to these figures, portraying them as forever-angry ladies who always present students with the worst options for lunch. @patsyramsey62 has vowed to remove this misconception. She regularly uploads videos to showcase the hard work and dedication lunch ladies put into their work. They leave nothing off the table, from following through every step to whipping up new recipes, just for the sake of children. Seeing the videos, viewers are bound to go down memory lane and revisit their own 'lunch break' days.

One of the lunch lady's viral videos shows her and her coworkers making spaghetti. The text overlay read, "Working hard to feed the kids." It started with them diligently grounding the meat, which does not look easy by any means. Thereafter, they boiled large containers of spaghetti. The next step was to put it in the microwave with the right settings. After this, the lunch ladies began preparing the sauces and chopping up the vegetables. She further wrote in the video, "It takes teamwork to pull off a spaghetti day." Every step, from preparing to cooking to garnishing, required immaculate effort, but these ladies gave it their all for the sake of the children. They wanted the children to feel joy after seeing the food and did everything possible to achieve this pursuit.

The lunch ladies always try to do their best with the available resources. They understand that for many students, this might be the largest meal they have throughout the day. Therefore, they try to make the dishes as nutritious and tasty as possible. In one of her videos, she showed how her whole team managed to turn commodity grilled chicken into a delicious offering on the menu. There were many steps that the group had to follow, like boiling the chicken, incorporating it with bell peppers and onions, as well as Spanish rice, giving it a proper mix with seasoning, mixing it all together, creating the sauce, plating and many more. The sheer amount was so huge that it took all hands on deck to get the food on the table at the right time. Even though appliances take a lot of pressure, tasks like chopping vegetables need to be done by manual labor. Dedication and teamwork transform grilled chicken into heavenly fajita chicken.

In her video featuring turkey-charcuterie trays, she puts the long-held myth to death that lunch ladies mix together anything in the name of food and give it to children. They make sure that the taxpayer's money is used to whip up something good. The arrangement had turkey, pepperoni, cubed cheese, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, carrots, ranch cups, hummus, chips and a fruit cup. It was very evident that only fresh produce had been used to put the plates together. The plate was both appealing as well as nutritious and must have been a hit amongst the student body.
