Gen Z has unique communication mode that differs a lot from other generations. This form of communication can lead to many funny incidents at the workplace when they try to convey something to their employees or coworkers. Vivian Grimes, the owner of Henri Noël Fine Jewelry, shared a hilarious video on TikTok where she showcased some of the texts she got from her Gen Z marketing coordinator. The woman starts the video by saying, "These are texts I've received from my Gen Z marketing coordinator. I am not kidding when I share these."

The first text she shares reads, "Ugh, I'm getting to it. I'm just so tired today. Waiting for my starbies DoorDash to arrive." Grimes highlights how she has never ordered a Starbucks coffee at her house despite being busy running her two businesses and managing many employees. The next one is a request from the employee for a bean bag chair for the "gem den." Grimes explains, "I wanted to respond, 'Do you think a bean bag would fit the vibe of a fine jewelry store that sells thousands and thousands of dollars worth of jewelry?'"

She moves on to the next one, which is truly funny. Her marketing coordinator responds to Grime's request to put a new product into their backing system with "No way, Jose." The Gen Z employee even went to the extent of sending her an image of talk show host Seth Meyers putting up his hands and stating, "I gotta give you one star," to express her frustration after seeing all of the time and work involved in completing the task. Grimes clarifies, "Yes, it was probably going to take her a couple of hours. I want to remind you I am her boss and fully pay her." People loved the employee's texting etiquette and shared their thoughts in the comments.

@matrix17760 commented, "As a millennial boss, it sounds just fine for her as an employee. Dash some stars for me, too. I love the cake pops! I work remotely in tech, but as long as there's respect, I have a fun personality." @carleenicole7 shared, "My Gen Z marketing coordinator gives me the energy I need to make it through each day. She is so funny and so real. I want to be her when I grow up. She's so unbothered but so productive." @ttt3333222111 said, "As an elder millennial, I'm trying not to turn frivolous door-dashing into the new avocado toast, but they are making it hard."

It can be quite amusing to have Gen Z employees in an office. An oilshore company put up a hilarious video on TikTok that contained a lot of their Gen Z workers' unique and funny out-of-office messages. It begins with a woman pointing to a text overlay that reads, "My Gen Z coworkers' out-of-office messages." The first message from Joseph is honest and reads, "On vacation. Hoping to win the lottery and never return." Another one reads, "The bad news is that I'm out of office. The good news is that I'm out of the office."
