Losing a loved one is tough and challenging for everyone. For some, it takes too long to fill the void left by the loss, especially spouses or partners. Not many could recognize the pain that people grieving their late husband or wife go through. However, the internet never fails to get hold of some heartwarming stories of kind people understanding and helping those grieving a tragic loss. Sammy Brooke Stewart—who goes by @sammybstewart on TikTok—shared the most wholesome video, showing how her husband takes care of their neighbor who lost their loved one and it spreads a powerful message.

Capturing her kind-hearted husband's good deed from a distance, the wife couldn't help but express how proud she was. "Our neighbor's husband passed away last year and my husband is always making sure she is taken care of," reads the text on the video. As a thick blanket of snow filled their street, the husband ensured their neighbor's driveway was clear enough by shoveling it out of the way. After clearing up the snow in front of his home, the husband didn't want to leave his neighbor concerned about chores like these because she was already in mourning. "You can always find him over at Merna's," the wife mentioned. The heartwarming scene touched millions of hearts on the platform.

The video has garnered nearly 5 million views and 456K likes. More than 3000 comments poured in, appreciating the man's thoughtful gesture. "After my Papa passed, their neighbor took care of this for my Mimi. Please know this is appreciated beyond words. Thank you for being so kind," commented @themonarisa. "I wish everyone was being more helpful and less territorial and judgmental. We could all be happier neighbors," wrote @lfinn212. "My mother and father had health issues for years and I lived 3 hours away. Their neighbor took on their lawn and snow. Your husband is appreciated more than he knows. Thank him," commented @realteeniemartini. "As a home care nurse, great neighbors are what keep people alive! They think of you all as a family when you help them!" wrote @carolinestanek1.

Speaking of considerate neighbors, the story of neighbors coming together to help a woman who was about to be evicted from her house caught the internet's attention two years ago. 70-year-old Linda Taylor was falling prey to a real estate deal that she couldn't comprehend and was about to lose her home of 20 years, per The Washington Post. In 2006, Taylor's landlord, Greg Berendt, purchased the white stucco home in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood, Minneapolis, after the previous owner was accused of a mortgage fraud scheme that affected more than 45 homes, including Taylor's. The old woman had just a few months' notice to vacate.

When Taylor shared her misery with her neighbor, Andrew Fahlstrom, he teamed up with other neighbors to help her. After requesting Berendt to give Taylor some time to buy her own house, the neighbors began a fundraiser for the woman. Their united effort led to raising $275,000, which helped Taylor buy the home she was renting and cover repair charges and utility payments. "I'm safe, I'm secure and I have a home. I'm here to help the next person and the next person and the next person," a grateful Taylor said.
