She recently found out that there was a better way of changing the garbage bag than the usual without getting one's hands dirty or feeling an ick.
Two shared threads weave humanity together: social media and the chore of taking out the trash. While our enthusiasm often wanes when it concerns the latter, the realm of social media has come to our rescue. With the dissemination of widely acclaimed life hacks, our predicament of trash disposal has found a recent solution. Anna Antonje—who goes by @anna.antonje.gvn— recently found out that there was a better way of changing the garbage bag than the usual without getting one's hands dirty or feeling an ick. The video clip sharing the helpful hack received 30 million views.
The video first shows the stitched clip of a senior man stretching the garbage bag and then straightening it out to tuck it on the lid of the trash bin. After watching this clip, she was shocked, realizing she wasn't aware of such a simple hack. She imitates the actions of the man and tests the hack herself. Some viewers were left astounded by this while a few others claimed to be using it for years. "Why did I just learn that?" questioned @ronaldo_fan5050. "How I’m going to start changing the bins at work," joked @isabel_2695. "It helps so much if you let the air out that’s trapped between the can and bag," added @destinyrae92. "I’ve done this for years! I thought I was the only one who figured it out," claimed @pretty_e92.
To make changing trash easier, the world of social media has many hacks to offer. @sidneyraz recommends storing the entire roll of garbage bags in the can's bottom so that you always have a fresh bag on hand. He says in the video, "Here's something I didn't know until I was in my thirties. The entire roll of trash bags is supposed to go into the trash can?" Thereafter, he demonstrates how it is done. As one bag gets filled, he pulls it out and tears the end of the bag while a fresh bag is ready to be tucked into the lid of the bin.

Before coming across a helpful hack, you wouldn't even know you always needed it. Such was also the case when people stumbled upon @ariganja sharing a hack to clean food containers and remove stains from them. The proud Tupperware owner first shows off her stained Tupperware container, which she has cleaned thoroughly but still has orange stains on it. She half-fills the container with hot water before adding a dash of dish soap. She rips a paper towel into pieces and places it in the box as well.
She closes the lid and vigorously shakes the container. She shows the Tupperware container to be sparkling clean and brand new in a matter of minutes. Orange stains have been removed. Tupperware may not be the best way to help the environment, but reusable containers like this help reduce not only your at-home plastic use but also food waste.
