Her trick is pretty simple; all you need to do is first find your target and stare at them with a soft smile until they notice you.

Chelsea Anderson (@chelsea_explains on Instagram) claims to have 'invented' a dating hack back in college that guarantees a 95% success rate. In fact, Anderson claims even Kris Jenner was impressed by the "sticky-eye" hack that she'd sent to her daughter, Khloé Kardashian, to up her dating game. Posting the video this February, Anderson takes us through the 'hack' meant to disarm men.
Anderson explained her dating hack would work on people in any social setting; if done correctly, it results in a 95% success rate. "It's pretty powerful; I call it 'sticky eyes,'" she said. Her trick is pretty simple. All you need to do is first find your target and stare at them with a soft smile until they notice you. "When they look back at you, you look away, like you have been caught," Anderson demonstrated. Let a couple of minutes pass, and stare at your target again. The person you would be starting with, she said, would definitely look back at you, and you have to make eye contact so they approach you first. "You've got to make your eyes sticky to theirs. Once they look away, you also look away almost at the exact same time, because you don't want them to think you are a creep staring at them," Anderson added. Once you do it, she said, the person you were staring at would approach you within 45 seconds. But Anderson said before trying the hack, you must be ready with a reason to justify staring at them. "What I usually say is like, 'Oh, I thought, I recognized you from somewhere,'" she explained. Anderson had first shared her hack online a year ago. She said it went viral, and Kris Jenner sent it to her daughter, Khloe Kardashian, to try. Anderson continued saying the sticky eyes hack is mainly for girls or women, but men are free to try.

The common notion is that men approach first; in fact, although a survey by Match.com, a dating site, found that 95% of men want women to make the first move, only a handful actually make an effort. The survey of single American men across all age groups revealed that only 13% of women ask for a man's number, and only 29% initiate the first kiss. Men also want women to take the lead, calling them after their first date, and initiating physical intimacy, but not many experience that. If you, too, are a woman who wants to make the first move but doesn't know how, you should consider Anderson's "sticky eyes" hack.

Meanwhile, reacting to the 'dating hack, ' @writingallison1 commented, "I did this (without knowing it was called anything) in college in 1992; it really works. I had been trying to meet this guy for 2 months; finally, at a party, I stared until…as she says, I summoned him. We got married 5 years later." Similarly, @thisisrranch wrote, "I’m not prettier than any of my friends, but in my 20s I habitually got more attention than them, and this is exactly why." @pdxnomnom wrote, "I think it is just called flirting with your eyes...we old schoolers had to do this before online dating became a thing and had to find people in the wild. That's how people 'saw each other across the room.'"
