People love chilling in their pyjamas. One can’t wait to get into the comfort of loose and comforting pyjamas after a long day or night out. No one knew there were rules to wearing these all-comfy pyjamas until a woman asked about the same in a video on TikTok. Allison shared her feelings about wearing the same pyjamas three days in a row and people had conflicting opinions as to what the right way of wearing the popular item is. “I need to know people wear pajamas multiple times a week,” the woman said. She then explained that as a child she would wear the same pair of pyjamas multiple times a week as her parents had asked her to.

“When I was little, my parents made us wear pyjamas like multiple nights in a row because they were not dirty,” she explained. She then revealed that she practices the same habit as an adult and wanted to know whether she was on track. “I’ve worn these for like 3 nights in a row,” Allison said, showing her beige one-piece pyjamas. “So as adults are we still doing that or do I have to make dirty clothes every single night?” she asked. The woman asked and with over 7k comments, people had mixed responses to give. @keki_kings had a rather unusual opinion saying, “No, I wear new ones every night. I don’t wear jeans more than once either. (I know several people wear jeans several times in a row.)” Others were stuck on two differentiating opinions, one being that pajamas can be worn multiple times just like in childhood while others made a strong case for the fact that it should be otherwise.

@ashleycarpenter99 said, “I will wear them for a week straight. I hate doing laundry.” @pitt3love said, “Wait, there are people that don’t wear pyjamas multiple times in a week?” @loretovazquezn gave sensible advice saying, “Reuse unless dirty, sweaty or stopped food or something.” @m.athenaaaa said, “I will wear it till I feel it’s dirty or I’ve had a rough night of sweating.” @houseofzeusb spoke for the majority while saying, “It never occurred to me to change them every night.” @secretly.aina said, “I would wear mine for a week. It’s over a freshly washed body and clean sheets.” @shazzdah88 shared another relatable comment saying, “I don’t have enough pyjamas to wear each night and wash.”

@heatherlabonte was of the opposing opinion and straightforwardly said, “Nope, fresh pair every night.” @giigbythebeach said, “Fresh sets every night over here. I’m 48, isn’t that what we’re supposed to be doing?” @caroleena took things to the next level and said, “I not only wear them multiple times in a row but also during the day when I’m home. 24/7.” @caitsims0 said, “Yes, pyjamas for a month and then change.” The majority of the commenters deemed it wasteful to be washing pyjamas every night and changing into new ones. They strongly recommend wearing the same set of PJs for at least 3 nights in a row before washing them unless they’re dirty or so.
