Woman married for 60 years reveals how she knew her high school sweetheart was 'the one'

When someone asked Williams, "How did you know that he was the one?" She simply said, "I trusted him. From the moment I met him, I trusted him. We have been married for 60 years this year. I met him when I was 16 in high school. We dated for three years and we got married at 19 years old." She fell head-over-heels for her childhood sweetheart at first sight, even before they exchanged any words. "He was a good person, a good, kind, smart person. He made me feel very very special," Williams added. Reflecting on their healthy and long-lasting relationship, she shared that the foundation of their marriage has always been friendship. "We are best friends. He has been my best friend since the very beginning, since the first time I ever met him," she concluded.
