Employees often have to deal with corporate issues and find creative ways to do the same. Whether it’s an annoying coworker, a micromanaging boss, or just heap loads of work, employees find their way around. A woman named Maggie (@everydaymaggie) shared a hilarious depiction of how employees speak with coworkers and it on-point. The woman showed how workers converse with colleagues on a call vs how they talk after they’ve hung up and it's too hilarious. “How corporate America makes me feel in a nutshell,” she wrote in her caption. Starting with the call, Maggie was seated in front of her laptop posing with the widest smile.

“Yeah, yeah I’ll get that done right away,” she said. Throughout the call, she posed in a polite tone, obeying and nodding to every request. “I’ll send that right over to you,” she said. The smile on her face didn’t wither it seemed she was content with her job. Toward the end of the call, Maggie concluded with a couple of the happiest nods and thanked the coworker before hanging up. “Have a good day now,” she said. The second the laptop shut, the brightness and smile vanished from Maggie’s face. In a jiffy, her expression changed to the opposite. From a bubbly and enthusiastic employee, she revealed her honest reactions

Dull, exhausted and annoyed, Maggie let out a reaction aching to come out of her. “What the F**K!” she exclaimed. Agitated by the requests, she held her head in her hands in frustration. Going from a chirpy employee to an irritated and stressed-out worker, every corporate employee understood the shift of emotions. To say the least, it was accurate. A majority recalled having similar meetings or calls where one gives in and agrees with everything a coworker has to say. The minute the meeting is over, they let out their honest emotions.

Maggie’s depiction became way too relatable for fellow employees. The pain of every employee was represented within seconds and they couldn’t help but chuckle at the situation. @mollyeventplanner added, “There’s that three seconds where you panic thinking Zoom hasn’t closed.” @booknerdinaredscarf wrote, “This is me 5 days a week.” @esmesworld1030 shared another fright saying, “Did this and forgot to mute.” @istroupe hysterically chimed in, “I know the girl training me does this when we get off.” @jooliew68 said, “Every. Damn. Time. My face hurts from using my customer service smile.”

Many employees shared their experiences and opinions about the witty traits corporate workers possess. @rememberjo said, “This is perfect. So accurate. Even better when the other side forgets to jump off and you can hear them say the same.” @maestra102 remarked, “I’m a middle school teacher and this is me every time the last kid leaves my class.” @ruskrewed521 hilariously added, “This is me every single day at work. I’m pretty much constantly asking myself, ‘Are you kidding me?’ on a loop from 9 to 5.”
