Kindness and compassion towards strangers are rare to find in people nowadays. We often come across people who need help. It could be just helping someone with a few bags or aiding them to cross the road. In our active lifestyle, where everyone seems extremely busy, only a few of us give a helping hand. A beautiful video posted on Reddit by u/esberat shows a child struggling to cross a road. She has a fracture on her left leg and is walking with the support of a walking stick. She is unable to move fast as a result of this. Meanwhile, people can be seen passing by and starting to run as soon as the traffic starts moving. However, the girl is trying to move faster. Eventually, a woman comes by and gives the girl a piggyback ride to cross the road. She even requests cars to stop while taking the child with her.

The caption of the video reads, "Bless her beautiful heart." The video has received over 36k upvotes. People on Reddit questioned the accessibility of the roads for disabled people. "As a wheelchair user, it’s very scary to go through a crosswalk that long. Sometimes drivers don’t see you because you are not as tall as everybody else and asking for a walking person to go with you sometimes it’s a must," commented u/AlwaysSunnyDragRace. "These are some huge streets," wrote u/DuckySaysQuack. "Amazingly kind and impressive. My back would be GONE as soon as her good foot left the ground. Then we'd both need help," expressed u/debr1126. "Your Humanity speaks the same language throughout the world," pointed out u/pelonweon. "When your infrastructure is so hostile to pedestrians, disabled people literally need to rely on the kindness of other people to cross a f--king street," mentioned u/northernmaplesyrup1

A stranger's kindness often leaves a deep impact on a person's life. In a similar incident, content creator @dabaaaabyyy was having a difficult time when she was pleasantly surprised by an interaction she had with one of the Trader Joe's employees.

In her viral video, Blakey said, "There has just been, like, a lot that’s been going on. I’ve just had a really hard couple of days, OK? And I’m normally really good at, like, masking feelings. Clearly, I was not tonight." She noticed that the cashier was making an effort to engage in conversation with her. Blakey added, "So, I had to go to Trader Joe’s to get some groceries because I don’t have any groceries in my apartment. And the guy that was checking me out could just, like, tell something was wrong, and I felt bad because he, like, kept trying to make conversation, and I was just, like, not being very responsive and, like, not talking a bunch."

"Anyways, I put my credit card in to, like, pay, and he’s like, ‘I’ll be right back,’" said the TikTok user. And the cashier comes with one of his coworkers and a bouquet of flowers. She said, "I am literally a wreck. And I was so embarrassed because I started bawling, crying in the grocery store."

"Moral of the story is to shop at Trader Joe’s because I literally love everybody that works there. And second, you never know, like, what one small act of kindness is gonna do for somebody," she concluded.
