Woman has the best idea to deal with guests wearing white at weddings to upstage the bride

Weddings are a special occasion for the couple getting married, marking a significant milestone in their relationship. On this day, it is customary for the bride to wear a white gown or dress. Despite being fully aware, some guests ignore the warning and show up to the wedding wearing white, most likely to upstage the bride. Some may interpret this as an attempt to outdo the bride or steal her thunder. Videos of wedding guests dressed in white gowns have caused quite a stir on TikTok, triggering one user with a clumsy yet solid arrangement to solve this problem.

Rachel Dean—who goes by @the.dean.dome on TikTok—who regularly posts comedic responses to popular videos, uploaded a presumably satirical video on June 6, suggesting she had a new wedding business venture. The video, titled "Business Idea: Please book me for your wedding," has been viewed over 11 million times.

It began by stitching together a viral upload from TikTok user @isabellasg3 in April, which was captioned, "Please never wear white to someone's wedding. It is sad and disrespectful," and received 57 million views and appeared to show a guest wearing a white, floral dress to someone else's wedding.

Dean starts by proposing, "Business idea, ladies. Hire me for your wedding. If you think someone is going to be a problem like this, you're looking at the problem solver, alright? I can show up at your wedding. Be a guest, right? You give me white wine to consume and then you also give me red wine. This is where it gets fun and interesting because I'll pick my targets. I'll be there looking for white dresses that aren't yours."

She then suggests, "I can just walk up to them and be like, 'Girl your dress is so pretty.' Like I love that dress," while gesturing that she'll spill the wine on their dress on the hypothetical guest while complimenting them.

"You know what I mean? Like it's perfect. I will get free snacks out of it. I don't want to be paid. I just want to show up to your wedding and like eat some of the food and have a Gin and Tonic or two. Also, just 'cause it's fun. I just wanted to throw a drink at someone anyway. You don't have to be the bad guy. You can kick me out. We can make a scene of it. It'll be fun," she explains the business arrangement.
