Bridesmaids are the bride's personal cheerleaders and cherished buddies who turn a momentous day into an unforgettable celebration of love, friendship, and joy. For Lisa J. Evans (@lisajevans_writes), a 35-year-old author from Cardiff, her best friend Emmy Savage became the star of the show—at least, in most of the wedding photos. Years after her marriage, the author of "Inside Her" discovered something hilarious when she browsed through her wedding album with her 5-year-old son.

While looking at his Mommy and her bridesmaid's intimate photos from the wedding day, the little one innocently asked, "Did you marry Emma or Daddy?" as reported by Newsweek. The heartwarming pictures from 2018 captured Evans and Savage exchanging rings, dancing together, sitting on each other’s laps and even cutting the wedding cake—making it look like it was their wedding. The on-screen text read, "When you get your wedding photos back and it looks like you married your bridesmaid," while the TikTok video showed the beautiful wedding pictures.

"I had seven bridesmaids in total, and there are similar photos with them, like hugging, dancing and laughing together. However, Emma's stood out because of the cake-cutting photo and others where it looks like she's my wife," Evans shared with the News outlet. However, she did not realize how funny her wedding photos were until her son pointed out. "Of course, I noticed Emma was in a lot of pictures (as were all the bridesmaids), but I was just grateful to my photographer for capturing all that love and fun," the author said.

Talking about Savage's reaction to the wedding photos, Evans shared that her best friend also found them funny. "Emma finds it hilarious and said it perfectly sums up who we are as a duo. Her favorite photo is the one where it looks like we're exchanging rings. She was just trying on my new ring, but TikTok viewers ran with it. Thankfully, my husband sees the funny side," she added.

Evans and Savage shared an unbreakable bond, built on shared memories and experiences. They lived together in the same city for the longest time and not a single day passed without them meeting. They were inseparable two halves of the same wildly unpredictable human puzzle. Now, with life pulling them to different locations, Evans and Savage try to sustain their friendship through technology. Even with the distance, they keep each other updated about their lives through chats.

The hilarious TikTok video took social media by fire and received an overwhelming response from netizens. For instance, @kjsummer commented, "I read it wrong as you worrying your wife looking like a bridesmaid in the photos and I was like 'No she doesn't, you both look like two gorgeous brides.'" @gray wrote, "I was in my bestie's maternity shoot and honestly it looks like I’m the dad." Similarly, @djstacie commented, "I didn’t read the whole caption and that you two were the ones that got married. I thought you were just posting your wedding pictures." @krissysisco3 commented, "My bestie got a wall sign for my wedding that says 'Every love story is amazing, but ours is my favorite.' She made sure everyone knew it was about me and her." @laurapage361 wrote, "On one of mine it looks like I married my dad. It’s a group photo and I’m linking him and my husband is like about a foot away."
