Neighbor disputes often start with something small, and if the party in the wrong refuses to acknowledge the issue, it gets worse. Gina Gagliardi (@giigiinicole) from New York took to TikTok on July 11, 2026, to record an entitled lady who kept taking her "reserved" parking spot despite multiple warnings. Frustrated, Gagliardi decided to teach her a lesson and got her vehicle towed in the most epic showdown. The video has received 5.6 million views, 684,900 likes, and 7,264 comments on her page.

Parking plot twist

Gagliardi had recorded the interaction between her and the neighbor through her window. She called out to the neighbor and requested not to park in her spot because it was marked reserved. The neighbor's response was incoherent, but when she got inside the car, Gagliardi shouted, "You'll get towed next time, c*nt. I have been the nice guy plenty of f*cking times, okay? I am done," and she stuck to her word. When her neighbor parked in her spot again, Gagliardi called the tow company and recorded the entire thing.

The accusation

On July 12, Gagliardi shared an update video, explaining that the entitled lady confronted her for recording without permission. The neighbor even left a note on her car, threatening to drag the matter to court. "I never parked in it intentionally. If you came to my door and actually showed your face, I would have opened it, apologized, and moved my car," she texted Gagliardi. The lady also confessed that she did not feel safe in her own home, since she was battling domestic violence. While Gagliardi may have had a moment of virality, the neighbor assured her she would be dealing with the consequences.

Moreover, the neighbor said that her friend, who had her car, actually parked it in Gagliardi's spot. "But you got on the internet portraying a story that isn't even what's really going on," she accused. Furthermore, the neighbor said that Gagliardi had given her much stress and anxiety, especially because she had a stalker who could get her location because of the TikTok video. "You need to be careful what you do, who you record, and what you say on the internet for likes," the lady added

Why do neighbors argue?

A SpotHero survey from 2023 found that 73% of drivers reported that parking is stressful, and 57.9% complained that it took them at least 10 minutes to find a parking spot. It could be possible that Gagliardi's neighbor also found parking stressful, which was why she parked in the 'reserved' parking spot. Another survey conducted by Talker Research, commissioned by Newsweek in 2025, found that only 34% of respondents never had any beef with their neighbor. The majority reported that noise (33%) was one of the main reasons for disputes, pets (18%), etiquette (13%), property boundaries (12%), and parking (11%) were a few other reasons neighbors would argue with each other.

'Call the police'

The comment section was 100% supporting Gagliardi and wanted to see the woman's reaction when she got her car towed. People were also impressed that Gagliardi gave the woman five chances before calling the tow truck, while a few others questioned where her car was. @lgabrielav4 commented, "I admire your grace to give her space five times." @moniquesereal wrote, "All those text messages are harassment. You should call the police and press charges."
