Martina Panchetti sent a polite letter asking her neighbors to reduce the noise their kids but she received an unexpected reply.
One of the cons of being in a neighborhood could be having noisy neighbors. No one likes to have people next door making unpleasant sounds randomly. A woman named Martina Panchetti (@maartinapanchetti) shared a post mentioning that she was distressed because of her noisy neighbors. The latter were a family with kids and one can assume the constant banter and chaos she had to deal with. The woman mentioned that she wrote a letter to the family requesting them to tone down the noise. She tried to keep the letter as understanding and polite as possible. In return, the woman received an astonishing response.
In her video, the text overlay read, “We sent a letter to our neighbors politely asking to make less noise and possibly avoid playing piano too early in the morning.” Panchetti received a letter in a yellow envelope with messy writing that read, “To Neighbors.” It seemed that the kids had addressed the letter to the woman. “We realize that sometimes we can be noisy and naughty. We started learning piano and our teachers told us to practice every day. But we sincerely apologize for not considering the times of the day and the weekends,” the letter adorably read.
The letter was written by the kids in a blue pen with multiple fonts. It was adorable to see their stickers, doodles and other elements on the handmade letter. The kids acknowledged that playing during random times of the day, especially in the morning was a disturbance. The kids added that their mother too had asked them to not be a cause for worry with their behavior. “To be honest, mommy has been telling us not to play in the mornings and she also wants to get some sleep on the weekends. We promise you and we promise our mommy to try to be more considerate,” the letter read.
The family even sent some sweets over to the woman which the kids mentioned in the letter. “PS: It’s not nut-free,” they added. They concluded the letter by saying, “Your loud neighbors, with love” along with the names of the kids. Panchetti was awestruck with the kids’ wholesome gesture. “On our way to cook some Italian sweets for them,” she wrote appreciating the wholesome gesture by the kids. People were smitten with the sweet reaction the kids had and how the family took Panchetti’s letter in a light-hearted fashion.
The adorable letter had people hilariously asking Panchetti to apologize instead. @gabrielleharris_ joked, “Buy yourself some earplugs and apologize this minute.” @kelsey_jade1 hilariously said, “This would make me want to put together a sorry basket for them.” @dmiamim24 remarked, “I think I would have written a letter back to them saying sorry, forget I said anything!” @1luxesirri1 observed, “They gave you a little disclaimer that it isn’t nut-free. That level of consideration is amazing, especially if it’s coming from little kids.” @red_becks exclaimed, “This is so gorgeous, kindness met with kindness!”
