Woman surprises 84-year-old dad with Yankees tickets. He had never been to a World Series Game in his life

Everyone has certain dreams that those close to them know about either because they talk about it often or have dreamed of the same for a very long time. In such instances, a loved one might strive to fulfill this person's aspirations and get to do so in the most unexpected way. A similar thing happened when a woman secured tickets to a Yankees game for her 84-year-old dad, who had always dreamed of attending. The daughter, who goes by @adorabaal on TikTok, took to the platform to share the moment her dad found out about it.

The video begins with the dad reading a letter about the tickets. "Telling my 84-year-old Dad that he gets to go to his first ever World Series," the text overlay read. "It would be the greatest honor of my life to stand at the Yankees World Series Game by my dad. I shared the video of you on Facebook without your consent," the letter revealed. "Sorry about that. When the Yankees won the ACLS and people loved it, they wanted to make our dream come true." The daughter added, "Very quickly, friends, family and even some strangers started donating to get you to the game. I emailed everyone I could think of at the Yankees to try and score some tickets."

"It all happened so fast. But yesterday afternoon, with the help of many people, I purchased the tickets. Yo boy, you are going to the game four of the World Series," the letter disclosed and everyone let out a loud cheer for the dad. "Do you believe it?" the woman asked and the old man simply shook his head. "You are going to the world series!" the daughter exclaimed, bringing a smile to the dad's face. "Oh man, I can't believe that," he said. The woman asked, "Are you excited?" The man expressed, "Yeah, I am excited." The daughter, who was on the call with her dad, told him, "I am flying up on Monday to New York." The caption read, "The greatest honor of my life! I get to accompany my Dad to the 2024 Yankees vs Los Angeles Dodgers World Series!"

The video received more than 327.4k views and over 52.1k likes. People took to the comments section to celebrate the dad's big moment. @sansak9 wrote, "My dad was a diehard Dodgers fan.
