Woman explains the signs of a bathroom designed by a man and the internet agrees

As much as a good home interior makes life simpler, some features don't completely fit everyone's convenience. Modern designs and digitalized appliances might be a great home enhancement but not everyone's cup of tea. Particularly for women, there's one bathroom feature that comes off as annoying no matter how well-designed it might be. Wedding photographer Ann Mark took a jive at the "waterfall shower" saying that it was something that only a man could've designed. As Mark explains the frustrating reason why the design was "overrated" and why women wouldn't opt for it, people, especially women, couldn't agree more with her. 

Speaking from the bathroom of a hotel she was staying at, Mark revealed the "waterfall showerhead" in the bathroom. "Can you tell if a man or a woman designed this bathroom renovation?" she asked. Pointing to the black showerhead, she said, "That is a dead giveaway that a man redesigned this bathroom." Though it is always refreshing to have a feeling as though we're under a waterfall, Mark says that this design is bothersome for women with longer hair. "Women see this in an Airbnb or a hotel and we're like, Dang it. We can't take body showers now."

Since the showerhead in question always sprays water vertically, straight down to the person standing below, one can't escape from wetting their hair that easily. For most men who tend to have shorter hair, styling it might not be a big deal. "We have to wash our hair, blow dry our hair and style our hair every single time that we have to shower," explained Mark. The photographer wanted the viewers to spread the word to men who remodel bathrooms. She emphasized, "No more waterfall showerheads please," because, to her, this was an "overrated design trend."

Not just Mark but many other women felt the same about waterfall showers. "You just have to stand there with the water pouring down on your head or stand completely out of the water, no thanks," said @its.meagain.k. "Not me in an Airbnb once with a garbage bag wrapped around my head because I just wanted a quick rinse off before dinner," pointed out @integrityweightloss. "Even when I am washing my hair, I still want to stand under the water without getting a face full of water," added @wintrygiraffe.

While these women feel that men don't understand their struggles with a waterfall shower and having to blow dry and style their hair, one loving husband learned to blow dry his wife's hair to help her out. An Arizona-based hair stylist Mariah—who goes by @happyhairhouse on Instagram—shared a heartwarming video of a husband learning the art of blow-drying the hair so that his wife who lost muscle function in both her arms could look nice. "He is so sweet. He just wants her to feel beautiful," the text overlay read. As Mariah showed him how it is done, the husband cleverly aced the styling and the whole scenario was an embodiment of "couple goals."
