'Jarvis is a good cat. He likes to sleep, watch the birds at the window, and play with my husband,' she said.
People's obsession with cats on the internet is well known. It doesn't take much for a feline to be appreciated online and so it was only a matter of time before Jarvis the husband-stealer grabbed people's attention. The adorable furball became an online sensation after his cat mom posted pictures documenting how Jarvis had taken a fancy to her husband and demoted her to the role of the third wheel in their relationship. It all began when Nasrin Hami from Thailand began posting a series of wholesome photos on Facebook showing how her husband Anatchai is constantly doted on by their gorgeous feline.
According to Metro, Jarvis, a Scottish fold cat, is an absolute lovebug when it comes to Anatchai and always finds reasons to be near him. Hami, 28, jokingly accuses the feline of stealing her husband with no intention of ever returning him to her. Photos she posts online show Jarvis perched on Anatchai's lap or at least beside him in any way possible, fussing over him, and asking for head rubs and kisses. Judging by his sour expression when looking directly at the camera in a lot of the photographs, he also doesn't seem all too pleased with Hami for hanging around him and his best friend.
Although many snaps show him sitting beside Anatchai during meal times — even going as far as to lay his paw or head on Anatchai's hand while he ate — he doesn't seem to be drawn to the food. In fact, speaking to Bored Panda, Hami revealed that the feline only eats cat food and has never even tried a bite of human food. "Jarvis is a good cat. He likes to sleep, watch the birds at the window, and play with my husband," she said. "Jarvis he always loving and affectionate with my husband and he acts the same way with me and is friendly with everyone who visits our home."
Jarvis has been with Hami and Anatchai a long time—he celebrated his seventh birthday on April 23—and despite many cat fans asking, it is unlikely to ever switch families. Nasrin makes this very clear on her Facebook page Baan Nee Tong Mee Meow, stating that Jarvis is not for sale. Although many of his online fans initially thought Jarvis was a female cat, Nasrin confirmed that he is a male Scottish fold. His breed makes him a brilliant and loving pet to have, she said.
