The 27-year-old woman is a representation of a vast majority of individuals, who are not as fit as the Olympic athletes.

Every four years, the world watches the stellar performances of Olympic athletes fighting for victory. Beyond the thrill of seeing one's country grab the medal, the Olympics also make people think about their fitness and athletic potential. Simona Stallone, a 27-year-old real estate agent from Toronto, Canada, was among those intrigued by the Olympic athletes' fitness. Stallone—who goes by @theotherstallone on Instagram—devised a hilarious plan to create her own "Out Of Shape Olympics." In a series of videos, the woman compares her performance with that of the Olympians and it's amusingly relatable.

Stallone's "Out Of Shape Olympics" series began on July 31. Since then, the real estate agent has tried out several sports. She started with the 100m Breaststroke and she highlighted that people should not "nitpick" the aspects of her performance that would get her disqualified. So, we must view it as an average 27-year-old unathletic person who is slightly overweight competing in the Olympic games. While her performance would seem exceptional to an unathletic individual, the scores reveal the hilarious truth. It turns out that Stallone was way slower than the male and female Olympic swimmers who finished last in the 100m Breaststroke event.

"This Olympic season, I am participating in all the events. I am physically able to give the people what they want and deserve finally," the Canadian woman mentioned in her video of the 20 km race walking event. Though she finished the 20km race walk, her struggles were a visual representation of how every unathletic person would feel during the race. When Stallone was halfway through the race, at 10 km, she realized that by that time, the Olympic athletes would have finished the race. The final comparison chart showed how the real estate agent took over 3 hours to finish the race while the Olympian who finished last did it in half the time.

Inspired by the Turkish shooter Yusuf Dikec, who won Silver in this Olympics, Stallone also attempted the airsoft event. In the video, the 27-year-old tried the 10m Air Pistol with a few imperfections in calculating the scores and keeping up with the rules. Stallone felt that this game was "easier and harder" at the same time and was surprised that she had fired a few shots closer to the target than she expected. Again, her performance might look great for a layman, but her scores spoke volumes. The Olympic shooters who finished last scored around 115 points, whereas Stallone scored just 30 points.

For every unsporty person out there wondering if they even have a chance at the Olympics, Stallone's performances are the reality checks. In another video, Stallone gave herself an Olympic Medal for nailing her 20km race walk. Many Olympians were observed to have lifted both feet above the ground, which meant running through the race. So, in that case, Stallone stayed by the rules and even finished her 20K. "Okay you deserve a medal for this series for sure," said @ntothesauce. "What a journey! Be proud of yourself for this achievement - you've earned it!" added @j.krysg. "Yay! Thank you for representing ordinary folks at the 2024 Olympics!" quipped @hope.parten.
