The stranger denied having anything to do with her husband, but some things strewn across the hotel room provided clear evidence of his betrayal

What was meant to be a night out with friends turned into a devastating discovery for one Arizona mom of three. Goobz (@itsgoobz) recently shared how she used iCloud’s location tracker to catch her husband red-handed while he was cheating on her with a stranger in a Holiday Inn hotel. In a series of May 2026 videos, she expressed the “indescribable pain” she felt after knowing that her husband was doing it on purpose. After leaving the bar, he had quietly removed his wedding ring while she was at home caretaking for kids and thinking that he was enjoying drinks with his friends.
The incident happened about two weeks before her post. At about 2:00 in the afternoon, Goobz's husband went out to a bar to have drinks with his friends. He kept on checking with her, sending messages and updates. Then at about 7:30, the messages stopped coming. She knew that since he had to get to work at 4:00 in the morning, he was habituated to sleeping at 8:00. So when she didn’t receive any communication for over an hour, a mix of suspicion and worry crossed her mind.

The last time he had called her, he had told her about a country bar where they were heading. She had asked him to take an Uber home, but he shrugged it off by saying, “No, I am feeling good.” All the while, she was with her three kids at home and a friend. When midnight came, and there was still no communication from her husband, her doubts that something was wrong shook her awake. She tapped into the iCloud app, which showed that her husband wasn’t at a bar, but in a Holiday Inn hotel. She immediately jumped into her car and drove to the inn.
@itsgoobz How do you recover from the ultimate betrayal!?!? 3 kids, a home, and a marriage all down the drain for a one night stand. I’m riding the roller coaster of emotions, doing my best to hold it together for my babies. 😞 #caughtcheating #cheatersgettingcaught #infidelity #cheater #momtok ♬ original sound - Goobz
At the hotel's front desk, Goobz gave her husband’s name and said he was intoxicated and needed help. The receptionist refused to provide the room number or any private information, but suggested she find her husband via iPhone’s “Find my Phone” feature. She clambered up and down, and finally stopped outside a room on the second floor, where she heard a ping sound. Footage from April 2026 captures her ordeal from the moment she knocked on the hotel room’s door to the point when that woman denied doing anything with her husband. The stranger was polite and nonchalant, gently explaining that they met at the bar whose name she couldn’t recall.

Even though the stranger denied having anything to do with her husband, the woman’s eyes had already spotted paraphernalia. When she asked where her husband was, the stranger replied that he was unclothed and in the bathroom. When he came out, they walked out of the hotel, and an argument erupted in the middle of the street. She removed her wedding ring and thwacked it in his hands. After all this, he still dared to ask for a drive home. The woman refused, drove to the house, packed his stuff and dumped it in his mother’s house.

The incident sounds unreal, but unfortunately, it happens too frequently. According to the Body+Soul 2024 Sex Census, 5% of the cheating individuals are caught red-handed by their partners via location trackers. 29% of these individuals are found to be cheating with strangers, just like the woman’s husband. “I think that happens a lot, and I think phones play a massive role in people finding out these days,” explained sex and relationship therapist Lara Maree. A poll by Psychology Today indicated that 21.5% of the cheating individuals are caught by their partners, while 56.8% of the cheating partners confessed the infidelity.

The woman’s story left viewers curious and reflecting on their own situations. @elzprizes commented, “I don’t think people understand how awful cheating truly is and the harm it causes, especially when it’s an affair and you have children.” @if.i.could.would.u said, “Please don't stay with him. Don't go back to him. Your life will be so beautiful on the other side of this.” Nick (@br00m0nwheels), a hotel worker, remarked, “I call this story a typical Friday night shift.”
