Internet in stitches over boyfriend's purchase after girlfriend asks him to buy 'pads with wings'

Many men find themselves utterly perplexed when it comes to the subject of menstruation. Feminine hygiene products like tampons, pads, and the enigmatic diva cup remain a puzzling mystery for them. “What’s the difference between wings and no wings?” is a question that often pops up in men's minds when their wives, girlfriends or women in their family send them to buy pads. That was the case for one boyfriend whose partner asked him to buy "pads with wings." Anna who goes by the username @annabasile on TikTok shared a hilarious video of her boyfriend being totally clueless as to where he went wrong while buying the pads she asked for.

Right at the beginning, the boyfriend's shopping mishap was revealed. He bought panty liners, of course, but the wings came separately. Yes! It was chicken wings. As Anna captured the video, he was trying to reason with a family member of Anna he knew what he was doing. "She said 'pads with wings.' I got wings. These are wings," the man said tapping the box of food. When the family member asked if he asked Anna what "wings" she wanted, he confidently said, "They're buffalo." Not understanding what the problem was he added that he was sure that those were the wings Anna asked for. In a comment, Anna mentioned that he also got flowers for his girlfriend, her mom and her sister. "He's a kind," she added.

The girlfriend was absolutely in stitches in the background and in the caption, she wrote, "Dude, I'm dying!" The video garnered over 10.5 million views in just 4 days and people couldn't help but burst out in laughter. "That man’s a keeper. He might be a little confused but he did his best and didn’t even question this weird combination," quipped @serotoninplease616. "I wouldn’t even be mad. Got the pads and a snack? Perfect," remarked @stacebrewer. "But, bro actually understood the assignment. What I would do for some chicken wings when on my period!" chimed in @mmerissawithane. 

Speaking of men and their awkwardness towards feminine hygiene products, a father's sincere texts while trying to buy the right pads for his daughter left the internet chuckling. Tia Savva shared on Facebook the hilarious text exchange she had with her dad while he was getting pads for her. "I'm nearly as stressed as my Dad trying to find the right sanitary towels," she wrote in the caption. In the snapshots of the chat window, the dad first wanted to know in which aisle pads would be in Tescos. 

After he located them, he was perplexed over what kind to buy as there were hundreds of them. Also, he felt awkward with a woman staring at him while he scanned through the aisle. The daughter wanted the night usage pads that came in purple packaging and were scented ones with wings. "Wtf are wings? How will I know if they're scented? Will I have to smell them?" he asked innocently. He then makes the situation more awkward by asking his daughter if she wants any creams. This innocent yet amusing exchange cracked up the internet.
