Woman amused by dating app match's audacious text message about her prospects with him

It's hard to tell if this woman's dating app match used AI to write his text messages or if he genuinely considers women to be recreational objects.

We meet a lot of unique personalities while scrolling through dating apps. Some people are nice and you might consider meeting them in person whereas the other side of the dating pool is full of creeps you need to avoid. A TikTok user named Kate (@k.t.lyn111 on the platform) unfortunately found herself on the wrong side of a dating app when she matched with a peculiar man.

Kate decided to share the "sweet" text messages she received from this man through a two-picture slideshow on TikTok and the messages are bound to baffle the entire internet crowd. The cringe-worthy messages she received seemed like it was AI generated as suspected by a lot of viewers but they were entertaining enough to earn Kate's post over 350,000 views in a short time and make it go viral.

The first image in Kate's slideshow is a screenshot of a post on X (formerly Twitter) which reads: "I love getting sweet messages, I just keep rereading them." The following slide shows screenshots of the text messages she received from her not-so-ideal match. “Hey Kate just wanted to update you. As time goes on I’ll probably gradually focus on you primarily as my source of recreational female interaction. I kind of operate on a first come, first serve, basis when I’m on dating apps and since I think...” it reads.

The unnamed man using words like "recreational female interaction" left social media users shocked and many jumped into the comment section to share their mortifying dating experiences and texts they had received. @userolivia joked: "I had a guy who wrote a public Evernote diary of our interaction on his website." @zachbum commented: "It’s never even occurred to me to talk to a person like this." @newburey wondered: "Oh, but when I ask for one more week because I’m nervous to say I love you, I get dumped?"

@horriblyjaded remarked: "The commodification of women is the unfortunate byproduct of misogyny and capitalism as sponsored by adult films." @wackaflocka_lame0 quipped: "What happened to 'Hey Kate. I’ve enjoyed spending time with you and see potential for us. Would you consider seeing each other more exclusively?'” @shari_nico added: "First come first serve. What is this a damn soup kitchen? Recreation female interactions. Jail." Unfortunately, there are plenty of women like Kate who experience unpleasant moments while getting into the dating game or trying to find a genuinely nice partner.

In another jarring story about dating gone wrong for women, a lady was left stunned when a stranger passed her a note written on the back of a food bill, urging her to "run" from her date. "I had coffee with a guy yesterday," the woman named Hadia wrote in her tweet. "When he went to the bathroom, the gay guy sitting behind me passed me this note." The note contained a warning in eight words. Keeping the message to the point, the stranger wrote, "Too many red flags. Run. Be safe girl."

Many were intrigued about what the red flags were and asked Hadia to share a little more about her date. Hadia obliged, sharing information in a couple of follow-up tweets. Hadia said that she had identified some of the red flags herself but added that at no point did she feel threatened or in danger. So, she continued chatting with him, mainly to discuss his viewpoints on various matters and to hopefully counter his stance on topics they disagreed on. One of the topics that they disagreed on was about the rapper Da Baby, who was heavily criticized for his homophobic comments. As things escalated, Hadia was able to take herself out of the situation and learned how to be aware of such "red flags" in the future.
