Woman adorably spoils boyfriend's meticulously planned surprise proposal for the wholesomest reason

People often dream of having the perfect proposal and some even look forward to the moment before they start dating. But imagine unwittingly goofing up your own proposal!? A young woman named Karleni added a funny element to her own proposal in the most adorable way. Her partner had the most elegant and romantic proposal planned but she had no clue and her immediate response made the entire event worth chuckling upon. The man had planned out a formal and exquisite proposal in a personal space. Right from the door to the space where he’d pop the question, the entire area was decorated. 

Karleni and her partner were dressed in formals but it didn’t click for the woman at all. She reached the doorstep and saw the trail of rose petals, lights and more adorning the room. The entire pathway was covered in lit candles and petals and the rest of the setup wasn’t visible from the doorstep. However, the minute Karleni saw the passage of flowers, she got half the idea of what was to unfold. Her fiancé entered and took the first step into the room while she was about to follow him. “Shoot wait, I think someone is proposing,” she exclaimed, taking a step back from the doorstep. 

Karleni was distressed that she may have ruined someone’s proposal and become an obstacle for them. Astounded and speechless, her partner had no idea what to say. After blankly looking at her, he remarked, “I think I might…” with a smile. Flabbergasted at the situation, Karleni stared at the camera person in disbelief. Within seconds, she was completely embarrassed about her reaction to her very own proposal. She covered her face with her hands and awkwardly laughed at the fact that she didn’t figure out she was going to be proposed to, given the setup. “Pov: You have no clue you’re walking into your own proposal even when it’s right in front of you,” she wrote. 

The patiently waiting man held Karleni's hand and led her onto the passage of petals and candles. She kept saying, “No way,” in utter shock and delight. As the proposal went into motion, her fiancé left her halfway through the passage to take it all in. He walked to a huge sparkling “Marry me” sign and went down on his knees. Karleni stood baffled and in tears until her partner stretched out his hand to call her over. She then accepted the ring and the duo shared the warmest embrace. The couple’s joy was joined in by the applause and smiles of their loved ones who came into the room after Karleni said yes.
